Confirming pregnancy from at least 28 days. A New Veterinary Grade Ultrasound scanner is used to detect pregnancy in the comfort of your own home, a non-invasive procedure, completely safe where a water based clear gel is applied to the skin and the ultrasound probe to obtain a clear image produced from sound waves. Taking the guess work out of Pregnancy diagnosis giving you the benefit of more accurate dates if mating has occurred on a number of dates or if a mismating may have occurred. Although I cannot exactly tell how many gestational sacs are present a good representation is possible. It is possible to count the same gestational sac twice and they can easily hide behind one another! Reabsorption in early pregnancies is also a strong possibility. Singleton puppies can be picked up so you can be prepared for only one! If your bitch/queen is at all unwell and you have any concerns I would urge you to call your Veterinarian as Pyometra is a dangerous possibility in the unspayed bitch after a season and time is of the essence in these cases.
