🙏🏼 THANK YOU to all the humans & dogs that made 2024 the best year yet!

I've been a little quiet on socials lately (holiday craziness, peak season and seasonal illnesses got the best of me 😅) but I wanted to take a moment to share some highlights ✨️

🐾 In January, DTW became the only service in Whistler (and 2nd in the Sea to Sky corridor) to be accredited by the BC SPCA. This involved a thorough in person audit of our procedures and operations which felt daunting but is now something that I am extremely proud of 🏅

🐾 In September, we celebrated Sadie entering her 3rd, and Becca her 2nd year as Small Pack Walk leaders. There really are no words for how grateful I am for these incredible ladies. The compassion, care, and professionalism that they bring to their role is truly unparalleled 🥲

🐾 As a team, we completed over 750 Small Pack Walks. Of the thousands of hours we spent on trail, we had less than 10 incidents: 0 involved injuries that required a trip to the vet/more than basic first aid and no dog was missing for more than 60 minutes. These numbers speak for themselves; solid standard operating procedures that prioritize safety protects the well being of dogs and humans alike 🐕️

THANK YOU, again, from the bottom of my heart. I can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for Doggy Tales Whistler 💫

👋🏼 Hi! I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend & is soaking up the last of the summer sun ☀️

📢 Auntie Sadie will be back to the trails tomorrow (Wednesday) and I (Abbey) will be heading out for a holiday with my mom 📢

In my absence, Sadie will be monitoring emails & responding to inquiries whenever possible 💌

Thank you for your understanding while I rest and recharge 🤍 Heading into holidays feeling grateful for another spectacular season with the crew!

👋🏼 Hi Friends! 👋🏼 The Thursday AM crew is here with an update for all our SPWers 🐾

Auntie Sadie is off for a well deserved summer vacation tomorrow 🥳

Tuesday-Friday pups you’ll be seeing me (Auntie Abbey) for pickups tomorrow (Friday 23rd) through till August 30th 🚙

📢 The only cancelled SPW’s are the AM & PM groups on September 3rd (PPB notifications for these cancellations have been sent!) 📢

I’m really looking forward to getting out on the trails with our Doggy Talers & to seeing some familiar human faces ☺️

✨ Welcome Kona & Welcome Back Geno✨ to Small Pack Walk Club 🥳🐾

Geno (happy guy front & centre in the second photo) you might remember from 2022! We are so thrilled he has moved back to Whistler - we’ve sure missed having this big loveable guy on the trails! 🫶🏼

Kona (sweet little curly golden boy) is new to the crew but fitting right on in and already making new friends! 🥹

Looking forward to many more adventures to come with these happy 💜

One thing I am 💯% sure of is that I wouldn’t have achieved half as much without incredible staff members 🙌🏼

Sadie & Becca’s commitment & passion for their role as SPW leaders has made it possible for me to dive head first into my new chapter as a dog trainer 🦮🐾

It was so nice to have the gang all together in support of at for Pups & Pints yesterday 💜🍻

Not only does every living being deserve rest, but it also allows us to show up even stronger & better for those we care for! 🙌🏼✨

One of the biggest lessons I learned last year was that meeting my own needs matters too. It’s kind of like what the flight attendant (or in 2024 the video) says before takeoff; secure your own oxygen mask FIRST before assisting others 🙃🤣😉
