Happy New Year everyone!
Peach has spent the last month in a foster home and is now ready to find her forever home.

We decided she will do best in a home with no pets or children, as she is very shy and needs a pretty quiet atmosphere.

She is the perfect companion for someone who travels a lot and just wants a friend at home, she’s very much to herself and loves to snuggle in small doses.

Hello everyone, we are posting in great need of a foster, foster to adopt, or permanent home for our former foster, Princess Peach.

She is not currently thriving in her home with a senior cat, and needs to be placed in a home with a kitten or younger cat, or she would also thrive as a solo cat.

PLEASE PLEASE SHARE THIS POST

If you or someone you know could potentially help, please let me know. I will coordinate transport as well as provide food/supplies if you can take her on a temporary foster basis!!!!

Goldie got spayed yesterday, which means she’s officially up for adoption! The link will be in our bio for her adoption!! A few notes on our golden girl:

1. She is a very playful kitten with lots of energy so she needs to be in a home with another cat or kitten her age.

2. Due to her nature, she needs to be in a home with adults or children over 12 years of age.

She’s basically ready to go so if you would like to add a new family member, apply to adopt ASAP!

Meet Goldie ☀️

She’s four weeks old and as sweet as can be! She will be ready for adoption in about 4-5 weeks, make sure to keep up with us on her journey to 2 pounds 🤩🤩

We’ve had Jerry for a little over 4 months and happy to finally say he is going to his forever home tomorrow! Congrats Jerry! It’s a very bittersweet adoption for us, since we have gotten very attached to this guy and even thought about keeping him! We are going to miss him so much but we’re so happy for him to have a happy life with 3 new cat siblings and a new mom!

We have been absent for a while on here, but it’s because we have just had Jerry due to size restrictions! But yesterday, Jerry was neutered and he is ready for adoption through 💕

Jerry is super playful and full of energy! He needs to be adopted with another kitten or go to a home with a resident cat due to his high play drive. Jerry can play rough with people and other kittens, so it’s best for him to go to a home with all persons over the age of 13.

ATTENTION! 🚨🚨
This kitten was found in a Sacramento apartment complex outside in the cold, crying. He is friendly, a male, and neutered, but not microchipped. The two girls who found him said they asked around the complex and nobody claimed him. We are keeping him here until we can find an owner if possible, and if not he will be in foster care and adopted out after 30 days. We are calling him Benny 🐱
PLEASE share and ask around to see if anyone has lost a pet, we would love to reunite him with his home. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

It’s !
On Friday’s we are going to share a new fact about feral cats or answer questions you might have about TNR!
This is a cat trapped in a Sacramento colony for neuter surgery!
A lot of people ask, why do we return ferals back to their colony? Why not adopt them out? As says, feral is beautiful and shouldn’t be judged just because they’re not a cuddly house cat!
Trying to domesticate a truly feral cat would not only be a fools errand, but might put the cat under extreme distress and would make life worse off for them. When trapping and returning, we always ensure that someone is feeding the community cats and that they’re not in eminent danger :)

Since we have a light load on fosters right now, I wanted to use this week to hi-light adopting from shelters! Yesterday, we wanted to tackle misconceptions about "kill shelters" ⁠⁠
Today, let's talk about why is so important, and common misconceptions that come along with adopting shelter pets! ⁠⁠
It is understandable to be interested in a specific breed or temperament, and a shelter pet can 100% fulfill your needs! ⁠⁠
When it comes to adding a new family member in your home, you want to have a cat/dog as soon as possible to love and cherish! But just like picking out a car or a house, it takes patience to find the perfect match. There are tons of breed specific rescues, and you can set search notifications at your local shelters for breeds, colors, ages, you might be looking for. ⁠⁠
If you have any questions about adopting a shelter pet or would like resources on how to find a breed specific rescue, please don't hesitate to reach out! ⁠

Hi everyone! Opal is still looking for a home! We are still taking applications and she will be ready on 3/8 fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. If you are interested, please e-mail us at [email protected] and we will give you an adoption interest form to fill out.

Currently we are looking for a quiet home with adults and all children over the age of 13. Opal is very shy and needs a home with patient owners who will allow her to come out of her shell.

I'm sure you have heard the term "kill shelter" and I am sure that scary term can deter you from supporting "kill shelters". I want to talk about why we should be supporting Kill shelters and why I do! (inspired by )⁠⁠
There is one main difference between "kill" and "no-kill" shelters. "No Kill" shelters and rescues are able to be no kill due to the fact that they are more than likely privately owned and can refuse intake of animals, so they can make sure that they're not overrun with animals brought in. ⁠⁠
"Kill Shelters" are oftentimes run by the local government municipalities and require the shelters to take in EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL. Of course, there is not enough room to take in all of these animals, so unfortunately this is where shelters are made to make hard decisions about euthanizing overflow animals. ⁠⁠
These people aren't evil or sick, they're overwhelmed and need help! This is where fostering and TNR come in! The more people foster animals, the more space is available in the shelter. The more often you adopt a pet from one of these shelters, they have another spot to fill. When we TNR instead of bringing feral cats into shelters, they won't get euthanized because they arent social. ⁠

So friends, I encourage you to support your local shelter in whatever way you're able! Fostering, Donating, and Volunteering are all a great way to start. ⁠

Meet Opal!

Opal was trapped during one of our TNR projects and while in recovery, we discovered she is friendly! Miss Opal is looking for her forever home, and here is what we know about her:

Opal is 8months old and a domestic medium haired cat with black and white markings (tuxedo)

She is spayed, treated for fleas and ear mites, as well as given a rabies and FVRCP vaccine.

We are asking a $75 rehoming fee for her to cover costs accumulated during foster. Please DM us here or email us at [email protected]

Kitten season is starting back up! Our highest needs as of now is the dog items for our new foster dog, snuggle safe pads, and wet and dry kitten food and cat litter. Anything helps! Share if you’d like 🙂

Alright people! Skipper is ready for her forever home! After keeping a close eye on her over the last week, we have noticed that Skipper is an independent lady! While we would love her to have a brother or sister at her new home, we do think skipper would do great by herself in a home with an owner that is willing to give her a little extra attention. Skipper is seriously the SOFTEST kitten we have ever had, and loves to snuggle (on her own terms) she’s super sweet and loving, but does not like to be held. Hello! Asking for some help here! This is Apple Jack.

We found him at the gas station where Peachy was, and at first we actually thought he was her mom 😹

We needed to get him out of there ASAP due to poor living conditions. We found later that he is tame!

So, I’m looking for a home or even a temporary foster situation for him until a home is found for him. He gets along well with other cats, is neutered, and would also be a great solo cat. This is a time sensitive situation so we need help ASAP. thank you!

Updates on Barbie and Skipper!

When we first got barbie and skipper a few weeks ago, they were pretty sick and had very bad URIs. Now look at them! Strong healthy girls!! So proud of these girls and can’t wait for them to get spayed and hopefully adopted soon! They are available so contact us if you are interested! Quinn is definitely the more apprehensive kitten between the two, but I can already tell she will warm up in no time! She loves pets and playing with her brother, and the cutest thing about her is when scruffed, she immediately starts purring and. making air biscuits. Just the cutest.
