We decided she will do best in a home with no pets or children, as she is very shy and needs a pretty quiet atmosphere.
She is the perfect companion for someone who travels a lot and just wants a friend at home, sheâs very much to herself and loves to snuggle in small doses.

She is not currently thriving in her home with a senior cat, and needs to be placed in a home with a kitten or younger cat, or she would also thrive as a solo cat.

Sheâs four weeks old and as sweet as can be! She will be ready for adoption in about 4-5 weeks, make sure to keep up with us on her journey to 2 pounds đ¤Šđ¤Š
Weâve had Jerry for a little over 4 months and happy to finally say he is going to his forever home tomorrow! Congrats Jerry! Itâs a very bittersweet adoption for us, since we have gotten very attached to this guy and even thought about keeping him! We are going to miss him so much but weâre so happy for him to have a happy life with 3 new cat siblings and a new mom!
Screaming because Jerry still isnât adopted! Let us know if youâre interested in this guy! Heâs the sweetest baby but is definitely a handful! He would do best with a friend amd needs a lot of attention to deal with his energy!

This kitten was found in a Sacramento apartment complex outside in the cold, crying. He is friendly, a male, and neutered, but not microchipped. The two girls who found him said they asked around the complex and nobody claimed him. We are keeping him here until we can find an owner if possible, and if not he will be in foster care and adopted out after 30 days. We are calling him Benny đą

This is a cat trapped in a Sacramento colony for neuter surgery!
A lot of people ask, why do we return ferals back to their colony? Why not adopt them out? As says, feral is beautiful and shouldnât be judged just because theyâre not a cuddly house cat!
Trying to domesticate a truly feral cat would not only be a fools errand, but might put the cat under extreme distress and would make life worse off for them. When trapping and returning, we always ensure that someone is feeding the community cats and that theyâre not in eminent danger :)

Today, let's talk about why is so important, and common misconceptions that come along with adopting shelter pets! â â
It is understandable to be interested in a specific breed or temperament, and a shelter pet can 100% fulfill your needs! â â
When it comes to adding a new family member in your home, you want to have a cat/dog as soon as possible to love and cherish! But just like picking out a car or a house, it takes patience to find the perfect match. There are tons of breed specific rescues, and you can set search notifications at your local shelters for breeds, colors, ages, you might be looking for. â â

I'm sure you have heard the term "kill shelter" and I am sure that scary term can deter you from supporting "kill shelters". I want to talk about why we should be supporting Kill shelters and why I do! (inspired by )â â
There is one main difference between "kill" and "no-kill" shelters. "No Kill" shelters and rescues are able to be no kill due to the fact that they are more than likely privately owned and can refuse intake of animals, so they can make sure that they're not overrun with animals brought in. â â
"Kill Shelters" are oftentimes run by the local government municipalities and require the shelters to take in EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL. Of course, there is not enough room to take in all of these animals, so unfortunately this is where shelters are made to make hard decisions about euthanizing overflow animals. â â
These people aren't evil or sick, they're overwhelmed and need help! This is where fostering and TNR come in! The more people foster animals, the more space is available in the shelter. The more often you adopt a pet from one of these shelters, they have another spot to fill. When we TNR instead of bringing feral cats into shelters, they won't get euthanized because they arent social. â

So friends, I encourage you to support your local shelter in whatever way you're able! Fostering, Donating, and Volunteering are all a great way to start. â

Opal was trapped during one of our TNR projects and while in recovery, we discovered she is friendly! Miss Opal is looking for her forever home, and here is what we know about her:
Opal is 8months old and a domestic medium haired cat with black and white markings (tuxedo)
She is spayed, treated for fleas and ear mites, as well as given a rabies and FVRCP vaccine.

Alright people! Skipper is ready for her forever home! After keeping a close eye on her over the last week, we have noticed that Skipper is an independent lady! While we would love her to have a brother or sister at her new home, we do think skipper would do great by herself in a home with an owner that is willing to give her a little extra attention. Skipper is seriously the SOFTEST kitten we have ever had, and loves to snuggle (on her own terms) sheâs super sweet and loving, but does not like to be held. Hello! Asking for some help here! This is Apple Jack.
We found him at the gas station where Peachy was, and at first we actually thought he was her mom đš
We needed to get him out of there ASAP due to poor living conditions. We found later that he is tame!
So, Iâm looking for a home or even a temporary foster situation for him until a home is found for him. He gets along well with other cats, is neutered, and would also be a great solo cat. This is a time sensitive situation so we need help ASAP. thank you!

When we first got barbie and skipper a few weeks ago, they were pretty sick and had very bad URIs. Now look at them! Strong healthy girls!!
