Foster found, thanks. 🆘 Help!!! 🆘 DENVER AREA: Immediate foster needed for Joanie beginning TOMORROW morning at 9:45 am in Morrison! Foster fell through😭💔😭 She will need to be picked up in Morrison tomorrow morning. She now has nowhere to go once transport arrives😖

She’s 35 lbs, sweet as can be and is good with other dogs AND cats! She’s around 8 months old and is fully vetted.

“She is a tender-hearted sweet girl who is learning to be brave. She is shy with animals and people at first, but warms up quickly. She loves meal time, soft beds, benebones and soft toys! She is potty trained and has no food/toy aggression or chewing issues. She is a quiet, reserved girl who wants so bad to be a part of the group but still learning that she is safe and doesn’t need to be fearful. She doesn’t need a kennel- just rests quietly on the dog bed when you’re gone. She is beginning to act like a dog again and we’ve even started to have zoomies and play with the other dogs in the house! Joanie walks perfectly on a leash (though you have to coax her out into the world first- then she walks perfectly along side the other dogs). She is going to be a great companion! Joanie would benefit from a foster home that has other cats and dogs to keep showing her how to be brave!”

Adoptable Maisy🌼🐶

One of our forgotten five is going to be our first dog featured in our new series Take ‘Em Home Tuesday! 🩵🐾

Maisy has been with her foster for about 9 months for no fault of her own! We have no idea why this sweet girl has not found her forever! Below are some fun facts about sweet Maisy girl!

🌼She is a female Plott Hound Mix about 2-3 yrs old
🌼She is 67lbs
🌼Personal space is non existent to her and she loves to cuddle and be as close as possible!
🌼She is good with other cats and dogs!
🌼She loves to lay outside in the sun!
🌼Her foster says she is SO loving and loyal and would love a home who could provide her the same!

Adopt me, share me!! Topochico 🐾

Topochico aka “Chico” is having a blast in his foster home and is the perfect Colorado adventure pup. His fosters rave about his sweet personality, ability to hang at breweries and rally for a hike and camping in the mountains. He does great with other dogs, loves people, is able to adventure but also is happy to chill. He met a cat and seemed unfazed. He seems to interact well with kids also.

Chico is about 6-7 months, and sadly found himself listed for euthanasia at a shelter in TX through no fault of his own. We’re so glad we were able to tag him and bring him to Colorado to start a new life. Unfortunately black dogs at shelters are notorious for not getting adopted easily 😞

Can you share Chico and network him? He’s an amazing dog and would love a home of his own.

Adoptable Hope 🐾

Hope was found all alone in a wide-open field in Rosenberg, Texas. Thankfully, she was microchipped — and that tiny chip told a big story. It revealed that Hope is just 6 months old and was originally adopted from a Texas shelter at only 3 months (see her original shelter info on the last slide 🥹). Sadly, her young life had already seen multiple rehomings before she was finally rescued.

Now safe in the care of one of our amazing Texas fosters, we’ve had the chance to truly get to know this special girl — and she’s a gem! Hope is dog-friendly, playful, affectionate, and full of curiosity. She adores her stuffed animal collection, enjoys long walks, and loves to run and play in the yard. With her happy spirit and attentive nature, she’s a joy to be around.

Soon, Hope will be headed to Denver, Colorado, where she’ll officially become an Up Pup! There, she’ll have the opportunity to find her forever family . This time, she’ll be placed under a lifetime adoption contract that guarantees her safety, love, and stability for all her days.

Sweet Pepsi is in need of a new foster ASAP! Could anyone take this sweet girl in? Preferably someone with no dogs in the home. She does do well with other dogs but has resource guarding tendencies when eating her food or playing with toys. If someone with foster experience and has dogs, that could work as well but would need to keep dogs separated during eating and playing with toys!

June Adoptions🌼🍉

While we are so happy these 4 found homes in June, our hearts are breaking for our “Forgotten Five” 🥹 who have either had zero interest, or apps that don’t work out for one reason or another, which have nothing to do with the dogs themselves! We would love to get these pups into their forever homes! See below for more information on these sweet pups backgrounds😢

🌼Maisy: Was dumped and at a shelter that was closing down in New Mexico. Maisy is one of our longest fosters and has been with her fosters since last year. She loves to snuggle and is good with dogs AND cats!

🌼Millie: Found dumped and pregnant on the streets with no babies around. She was taken by animal control to a high intake shelter, then placed on the euthanasia list because of lack of space. She is a beautiful husky mix who is very smart and loves other dogs! We also have had her in foster care since last year.

🌼Zara: Found dumped and recently pregnant but no babies around. A street feeder found her in the rain and said she was too sweet to be left out there - especially because people were poisoning the dogs on the street. We also have had her since last year. She is a smart, sweet girl who would love her forever home!

🌼Reya: Found dumped in Louisiana and rescued by a kind Samaritan who actually transported her halfway to Colorado because she knew she was that special 🥲She loves her people and will be your little shadow all day long!

🌼Tessie: Found dumped with her siblings in Cleveland, Texas at 6 weeks old to fend for themselves in the middle of nowhere. All her siblings have found a home expect her🥹

Sorry if this is a weird request. Would anyone be able to sponsor some gas money for this incredible human please? Her son is the person who found the puppy from Cleveland that we are taking (naming him Bingo).

She’s on a limited income and is doing this just to ensure the pup gets a safe and loving home. We pay for all supplies and vetting needed for the pups under our care because we don’t want our fosters spending their personal money, but we’d love to help this kind woman a little more.

It’s around 100 miles all together. The goal would be $60 towards her gas. If we can get 10 people to donate just $6 it would be so appreciated 🥲🥺

New puppy alert 🐶🐾

This tiny pup was dumped outside an apartment complex in Cleveland, TX 🤯 Poor little nugget is only about 9 weeks old and was taking in by some local animal rescuers in TX. They reached out for help with rescue backing, and how could we say no?! We are hoping to have him transport to Colorado next week so he can be adopted here and given a second chance 🙏🏻

He’s a sweet little guy and doing well in his foster home in TX. He just needs a name!

Adoption stories - Bonnie and Clyde

Although there are many stresses and overwhelming moments in rescue, seeing our dogs adopted and living in their forever homes is fuel that keeps us all going.

Bonnie and Clyde are two dogs that were found dumped in a notorious dog dumping ground in rural Cleveland, TX. They had clearly been failed miserably by humans but they still approached a street feeder in the area with wagging tails (see last video). The street feeder knew they needed off the streets and locals reached out for a rescue to help them. We knew we had to say yes 🥹

Clyde was adopted pretty quickly earlier this year. He’s living the good life here in Colorado being spoilt by his active, work from home mom and dad (what a lucky dog!) He gets to enjoy lots of adventures and gets all the attention as he’s currently an only dog child 🤣

Bonnie waited and waited in foster care. She continued to show her foster parents what a sweet girl she is and continued to wait for an application to come in for her. After many months of waiting, we had a family apply for a different dog but were open to other suggestions we thought could be a match. They met with Bonnie, and the rest is history! Bonnie was adopted into a home with 2 little kids that adore her. She is so happy to be part of a family of her own and is returning the love tenfold.

We are so happy for both Bonnie and Clyde. From being abandoned on the streets of Cleveland, to finding their forever homes. We are thankful to our fosters that continued to love and care for them until they found their adoptive homes. Thank you to the street feeders and animal rescue advocates and fosters that work so tirelessly in parts of the country where it almost seems unbelievable that animals are treated so poorly. We see you and your hard work 🫶🫶

Momma Halle 🌻 - foster needed 7/6 🙏🏻

Foster needed or foster to adopt needed for Momma Halle. Halle is a sweet 3yr old lab mix that found herself euthanasia listed at a shelter in TX. She had such a sweet personality but was being overlooked and her time was up! We couldn’t let that happen! Halle is being treated for heartworms (this is not contagious!) and will need a someone that can foster her through treatment. Halle has the opportunity to make transport from TX to CO 7/6 and we would love to have a foster or foster to adopt home lined up for her.

Here’s a report from her current foster mom in TX:

“Halle is a very sweet dog, her eyes are so expressive. She walks well on a leash, doesn’t want to chase any dogs or squirrels that we encounter on our walks. She’s totally housebroken and never has any accidents, even though she only goes potty twice a day. I swear she has the bladder of a camel. She goes in her kennel very easily when I leave the house as well as at night to go to bed. She will occasionally play with some toys and likes things that are hard that she can chew on. She very rarely barks and if she does, it’s because she thinks she hears something. Doesn’t bark when someone comes to the door, friendly to strangers even when they come in the house. She’s really an outstanding sweet little girl”
