Sadly, none of Sadie’s puppies survived. They were all about a week or two premature, I’m guesstimating because it’s so hard to pinpoint the conception date with animals. I’m devastated, she’s grieving and we are both completely exhausted. I had to remove the puppies from her and she’s been looking everywhere for them. She’s so amped up and the only time she will relax is if she’s in my lap. So I’ve not been able to leave her side. I gave her a lavender/chamomile bath and she’s laying on her heating pad beside me resting for now. So with all that being said, our Sadie girl is taking a while off and I will never plan for any of my dogs to be pregnant around the 4th, ever again! Today has definitely been a very difficult one. Just keep my Sadie girl in your thoughts. I’m hoping she bounces back fairly quickly. ❤️🩹
It really hurts my heart how some humans have no regard for animals and how most of the time they aren’t even safe in their own yard.
