Callie doesn’t always come out so it’s always a treat to have a Callie sighting. Jack isn’t supposed to sleep on the bed but for some reason he thinks it’s okay because his parents are gone (Yes, they know he does this). Kiba is an angel except for when he sneaks Callie’s food. And Bear is just a gentle giant. ❤️

We got to meet a few new clients yesterday. I didn’t get a chance to snap pictures of all of them but they are all real cuties. Lilly, a beautiful golden retriever and her adorable sister Daisy (not pictured), Phoebe & Plato, two cute grey kitties that are almost twins, and Hudson a lab/weim and Zeus a gorgeous Great Dane (not pictured). It’s always fun meeting new animals and spending some time getting to know the people they own. We look forward to sharing pics of these special pets when we get the opportunity to visit and care for them. ❤️

It’s always hard to say good-bye to something sweet. These sweet friends are about to move to New York. While we are happy it’s a good move for their family, they will be missed. After seeing them three times a week for a year and a half, it will be weird not getting to see them. This job is bittersweet because of all the sweet friendships we make and good-byes we have to say. ❤️

Bobo is an addition to our sweet clients Grace and Ellie’s house. He’s as mischievous as he is cute.

Accidents happen. Even when we all try our best. Bobo got a hold of a TV remote. (Thankfully no dogs were hurt in the process.)

We have enjoyed all the friends we have seen this month, both old and new! Several dogs are located at Amli Northpoint in Alpharetta and others are in Brookhaven/Dunwoody and John’s Creek/Peachtree Corners. Dogs really do make everything better! Thanks for sharing yours with us. ❤️

Dragonflies are a spiritual symbol of transformation and rebirth. Those of us who love dogs and our other pets often hold on to hope that our pups, cats and all our favorite creatures transition on to a happy, peaceful place.

We have been caring for a sweet senior dog and after a MRI today, the vet has recommended he go ahead and be transitioned today. His loving owner has been notified but since he is out of the country, Mallory is standing in to provide final comfort and reassurance.

These are the moments that people don’t usually think about when we say “I’m a pet sitter. I take care of animals.” Sometimes it is literally some of the hardest and darkest times along with so much joy and love.

We were honored to know you and be a part of your life, Marlow.

Please be kind to those who have a heart for animals and work with them. We are truly affected by every loss. We feel like they are a part of our family, too. I have cried many tears over the last few years, today, and I’m sure more will come. That’s the price we pay for love.

Can someone please invent a potion to keep dogs alive for much longer?

If you’re a Walking Dead fan, you might recognize this dog. Mallory is taking care of a celebrity for a couple of weeks along with his friend Callie Pearl. Marlow is a sweet old man and we are doing everything to love on him and keep him comfortable. Old dogs matter, and loving them well is important ❤️
