These two sweeties are Cricket & Jinxies babies. They’re out with me for hand feeding now. One is quite a bit smaller the other chonker obviously gets most of the food lol. He’ll catch up soon now he’s not competing for food. Cuties ❤️🐥❤️

Well they aren’t like my cockatiels that’s for sure and I take my life in my hands every time I sneak a peak but while mum and dad were out sharing a piece of jatz cracker and smooching (first time Jinxy has been out in weeks) I closed the door to the bird room (for my own safety) and finally got a pic and topped up sawdust) Mum & Dad are doing great both bubs are nice and chubby ❤️🐥❤️

Can you tell Crickets been helping me with the sweet potato for dinner 🤣 he’s been hanging with me a lot the last few weeks while his girlfriend is sitting on eggs (6 last count) ….. not going to lie the possibility of having 9 of these guys flying around my house is kind of terrifying lol 😂 Watch this space 🫣😬

So …… we have had a little excitement here over the last week and a bit, these two twirps have decided to lay a clutch of eggs eeek! After the excitement wore off I sat and had a stiff drink facing the reality of having possibly 7+ conures in my house at one time 🫣😬🤪 Now being first time parents anything could happen here but there is also a very strong possibility I will have some handraised conure bubs looking for a home in around 9-10 weeks.

Morning all, I have no affiliation with these pages but I thought I would share as this is where I have bought things from in the past. Most of the toys from pet shops for birds really aren’t that great for birds, if you don’t have time to make things yourself unique beaks makes loads of affordable toys, animal enrichment sells toys and also some components if you want to have a go at making something, she also sells some tunnels made
from wood and vegan leather which are great, I have had one in my parrotlet cage for a couple years and it’s holding up really well to the chewing.

It’s been an interesting evening, Gypsy at the back was a little one we took in about 9 mths ago when he sadly lost his person. Gyps is around 10 and not a handled bird so it’s been an interesting transition. Only the last few days Jinxy has been sneaking in to his cage and sitting with him and tonight he flew with the flock for the first time! A couple of reallllly big flights. He’s not much of a flyer so he got pretty pooped pretty quickly and had even let me pick him up to rescue him a number of times tonight which is huge and not even a thought of biting ❤️ now we just need to convince Cricket monster to play nice. I hoped one day he would hang with the others so 🤞🤞🤞

My cute little Peanut is 6 weeks old, he has the prettiest markings and I rarely get them without the red cheeks (he’s only the third one) he’s a little resistant to letting go of his baby feeds so this one will take a little longer to wean I reckon. He is the cutest little clingon for someone looking for a companion. I’m guessing a boy cause he has been vocalising but I have had girls that do that too on the odd occasion so we’ll see what comes back from dna testing next week. I’m guessing he will be ready in around 3 weeks when fully weaned. Message for more information if you are interested 😊🐥

Peanut is really not sure about this pesty blue thing 😂 dna sample ready to post tomorrow, my guess is boy cause we have a fair bit of vocalizing already. Such a cutie, 5 weeks old and ready in 3-4 weeks if you know someone who would like a sweet bub
