Our beautiful arena here at Greenwood Farm is floodlit and is 60x25m.
I regularly have poles out as part of my training and rehab work.

Great day at the office today!
All the horses had fun with this exercise . Working mainly on foot work and improving suppleness on a circle over the poles.
The blue blocks worked well to encourage them to work around the circle and not fall in. Going down the middle helped to keep them straight.
The lovely horse I had in for a lesson enjoyed the task and to watch him improve his footwork and where he was placing himself proved he can bend and move his shoulders sideways without becoming tense.
This was all done on the lunge, next step under saddle! Keep watching to see how we get on🤞

So nice to see this little chap coming on well. First week of ridden work after a few months of ground work to improve his strength and suppleness. Well done Rach for jumping on after 18 months out of the saddle pretty good effort all round 👍☺️
