Due to the rise in the cases of this respiratory illness in dogs, I will not be socializing dogs (at dog parks or otherwise) until further notice. I will also not be taking multiple clients at one time to prevent possible spread if one of them is carrying it.
I will still be open for boarding- so long as your dog is not actively ill. There is no documentation yet if this will spread to my cat, and a local vet hasnt had any cases in a cat yet, but I’d rather not take a sick pup just in case.
I do apologize for any inconveniences this may cause my clients.
I also highly recommend finding a home sitter or boarder rather than going commercial with large dog crowds for the upcoming holidays!
Stay safe and take care of your furry loved ones!
The illness causes cough and difficulty breathing.
