Piney Mountain Foster Care Our mission: help save dogs from kill shelters by providing skilled foster/rehab service to rescues. đź“·P.M.F.C. We work with rescues locally and nationally.

provides high quality foster care to rescues and shelters. P.M.F.C. is not a public shelter, we cannot accept owner surrenders without a rescue sponsorship. Nor are we Animal Control. We have neither the staff nor the equipment to go out trapping strays, We know there is a tremendous need for those services in Cocke County TN and it breaks our hearts that so many dogs are being dumped and left to fend for themselves.

Prepping to give Pearl her annual vaccinations. I do the Distemper/Parvo and Bordatella here, she will go to Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital for Rabies and a heart worm test. Keeping these up to date is important should anyone ever want to give our Pearlie Girlie (what Blade calls her) a proper home.

When Blade runs around in the yard all that floof fluttering in the breeze is quite a sight. But, of course, when I pull out my phone he gets all boogerous about being recorded. “No film ma butt!” Maybe he has a complex or something.
