COUNTY FAIR!!
To prepare for the fair Bullet and I worked lots on trotting, pivoting, and setting up with ease. I also clipped (very good for desensitizing his feet) and bathed him. Over all he did better then I was expecting. He performed the course perfectly and calmly! After the show he was treated to the pasture all to himself!

THE OBSTACLE COURSE! Once again he did awesome…I think we need to find something a little more challenging for him because he does everything great the first attempt!

Backing straight
+ more desensitizing

This was Bullet’s FIRST attempt ever loading in the trailer and he went right in! He backs out of the trailer just as well!

We’ve been bad at taking progress pics but here is a rundown:
Bullet is very calm and gentle, he learns and trusts very quickly!
He’s awesome at lunging!
He’s been leading and backing up great!
He loves to be brushed and have fly spray on!
We desensitized him to plastic bags, noodles and anything noisy before going over the tarp!
The tarp doesn’t phase him he goes over it with no problems!
He also walks over poles and backs through an L!

IT’S TIME! A very bitter sweet moment.
Trigger and I will be showing at the state fair @11 on 09/01! The auction will be the following day @11:30!
