UPDATE - Solo is now reserved, his first meet went very well but we don't want to jinx it so 🤫🤫😘
This is Solo.
Solo has been looking for his forever home for over 6 months.
Despite being the most lovable boy he has had so few applications and we cannot understand why, we’ve shown you his happy face, we’ve shown him being cute and being silly but we still haven’t found anyone to love him as we do.
So now we’ll show you this, he has a nice cosy bed in the back of his kennel but this is how he lays during the day, just waiting for us to run down and tell him that he’s had an application, that they’ve passed the home check and are coming to meet him.
That hasn’t happened today, today we’ve had to tell him that we are the only family he has. But we are not giving up, we know one day he’ll be snoozing on a sofa as he should be, but we need your help.
Solo is a retired greyhound, he isn’t keen on being alone so needs a home with people around lots, he is very affectionate and can be quite cheeky and silly, true to his greyhound nature, he would love a secure garden perfect for zoomies and a comfy spot where he can snooze and watch the world go by. He’s never been around children but as he can be quite bouncy he would be better suited to a home without young children but potentially could go with dog savvy, older children. Due to his high prey drive and previous training, he would not be able to live with any cats.
This description is hardly any different to the many other retired racers we have found forever homes for, we do not know what makes Solo any different, there has to be someone out there for him.
Please share or contact reception on [email protected] if you would like to offer this wonderful boy a home.
