I have gotten around to listing up the individual hammocks for sale and some sets on my trademe account they come with Afterpay option if your a regular trademe user for those who use Afterpay you just need to pay for postage seperately, I also do personal payment plans if it's a big order. Comes with a bag of mixed treats - Dried strawberries, Pumpkin seeds, Dried Cranberries, sunflower seeds, dark chocolate chips and crushed banana chips

Option to choose your own colors (between 1-3 colors)

Add to any pre-ordered hammock set for $5

Instructions: Hide the treats in the folds of different areas around the ball, then place your ball in your rats cage or play area and watch them investigate the new item and realise it smells like food or curiously search the ball and begin the search for the treats!

Snuffle balls help combat boredom, provide enrichment and the ability for your rats to forage as foraging is their natrual behavior which is encouraged for healthy brain stimulation and food control

Any foods or herbs that are safe for rats and are appropriate size can be hidden in the ball

Machine washable on cold or warm temp

I thought I'd put up an update on my Rattery! I am currently not breeding as I had to downsize rats and doing so I could only have one linage running! And unfortunately that line has popped up with bladder cancer so I had to cut the line because it was definitely genetic, to be able to have a litter I need to start fresh with a different girl rat that's not In relation but my cage is at capacity so I have to wait for some of my old rats to naturally pass away - hopefully not for a bit! But half of my girls are old so I don't think they'll make it to next year, so at the moment it's seeming like my next litter wont be until next year, during then I will be posting up lots of hammocks and taking hammock orders to supply people with beds for their rats rather than rats 😊

My younger sister is wanting to downsize her rats to get an easier cage to maintain but which will be smaller and over capacity, they are both friendly and havent had any health issues or problems she's is just less bonded to them! Ince is a black hood, he was bred by me and Lollies was adopted from Trademe

Exciting news! The Registered Rat Breeders have done a big revamp of our website and expanded and improved our club. We’re now an official incorporated society - The NZ Fancy Rat Society - and, while we’re still home to the registered breeders, we have expanded membership to include pet rat owners and everyone interested in rats. We’ll be sharing lots over the next few months, including breeder intros, tips and tricks, health and feeding info, how to’s, and competitions.

I have a big rat cage if anyone wants it! Checking otherwise will take to the tip just because it's too big to store and no longer need

- only as have got a new cage that's smaller and easier for my younger sister to clean for her rats

It's currently dismantled into its two peices just needs to be metal wired back into one or cable tied back into one whole, I've left it as two so it can be transported or if you have a truck or trailer I can easily combine it back again, it has some rust so can be repainted but it's not badly rusted so can be used straight away just upto the person! It used to have its side walls in storage to be able to be converted back into two solo parrot cages but they accidentally got thrown out during a clear out by someone who didn't know it was meant to be kept so the cage can only function as one big combined cage

The cages are about 1 - 1.5 years old

Espeon is looking round so hopefully that means babies are coming this weekend! She does naturally have a big stomach after she had her first litter so she's normally quite big so it can look decieving! But I've been basing it off the curve in her stomach rather then size

Upcoming plans:

I'm planning to pair Espeon for a second litter next week with one of our Boys Barty from Interstellar Rattery - Espeons also from Interstellar Rattery
Hopefully the pairing is a success and I have babies born in February! The litter should be all mostly black hooded and I'm guessing it will be a small litter, I will keep the page updated on if the pairing has worked 🤞

I am starting back up selling Rat food again! I will have all my ingredients delivered next week to mix up and list with details, I should have a decent amount of stock

I am also starting up a proper custom hammocks system- usually I do custom hammock orders through messages from people that have enquired. I will still be listing up pre-made discounted sets inbetween, it may take a bit longer to add the system on as I have to pre purchase all the fabric so it's readily in stock rather then ordering and waiting on it to arrive before starting to make
