Some news! Baby rats hopefully on the way! 🍼🐀

Last night I paired my girls Sock & Dust with my sisters boys Pumpkin & Hot chocolate from Interstellar Rattery

I should be expecting babies mid February if all goes well! I'm highly suspecting small litters which is why I've decided to breed a sister duo with a brother duo!
Sock and Dust are little black variberks and pumpkin and Hot chocolate are a fluffy carrier Cinnamon Irish and a fluffy mink hood, all of hot chocolates babies will be fluffy carriers and half of pumpkins will be fluffy carriers - this just means their fur may be a bit softer than a standard coat or more wispy appearing

I am in need of two cages though! So if anyone in the wellington region has a cage for sale or for the availablity to borrow please let me know 😊

Hideyhuts are now available ❤️
These are made with 8 layers total of wadding in the walls and 2 layers in the bottom making them standable, warm and squishy
They're on Preorder and on my new pricelist for $25 each, also available in a larger size (Guinea pig size) for $30
The Rat Hideyhut is 21cm long and high - the same as my cubes, the Guinea pig hideyhut is 25cm long and 30cm high

The Rat Hideyhut is suitable for 1-2 rats or if you have a RSK rat cage, bird cage etc the Guinea pig Hideyhut is suitable for 3-7 rats and can fit in the cages above + Strong Rat Cage, Critter nation etc

I will upload photos tomorrow of my Mischief modeling both sizes 🐀🐀

Our Breeding

I first adopted Rats in 2013 a Female PEW and Agouti ever since then I became in love with rats! Our first ever litter was with a Female PEW and Male Hooded Dove from there on we got the experience of breeding and continued to see little baby rats grow up and go to loving homes! We decided we wanted to give Wellington people the opportunity to adopt amazing healthy rats on the limited Ratterys down here as well as follow our passion on caring for animals and seeing them have full content lives.
