This sweet velvety baby, pictured at 3 days old, is being very well fed and cared for by its mommy, Peach. From the day our babies are born, we make a special point to touch them every day. Unlike wild animals, our mommies have full trust and comfort with us handling their babies, so contact does not pose a risk of abandonment.

Did you know: Holland Lops aren't born with floppy ears? During the first 4-6 weeks of their lives, their ears are not floppy. The flop naturally develops as the ear grows and increases in weight. The majority of Holland Lops lose the ability to lift their ears high by the time they are 8-10 weeks old. This sweet baby, pictured at 4.5 weeks old, is just beginning to flop.

We have had several of you check on the bunnies and us during this time of terrible flooding in western North Carolina.
We are happy to report that although the bunnies are wet and temporarily without proper housing, we were able to successfully evacuate every single bunny alive from the flood.
It will likely take us months to recover from this. For those who have been asking how they can help, any financial contribution is extremely helpful or hands as we work to rebuild from the damages.
