⭐Meet The Team - Finn ⭐

I have worked for VetPartners Central Support for around 2 and half years. I started within the Integration Team and then moved over into the role of Operations Support Coordinator.

I a big fan of F1 and I attended the Silverstone event this year. I have three Dalmatians and two cats which makes for a lively household.

I enjoy travelling and my favourite place so far has been Croatia.

⭐Meet The Team - Sarah May⭐

I am a stock co-ordinator for VetPartners. I joined the central team in early 2023 and prior to this, I worked as a Veterinary Nurse in a VetPartners practice in Cardiff, South Wales. In my time there, I enjoyed all aspects of nursing and then went on to gain additional skills and knowledge in stock management alongside my daily nursing duties.

Outside of work I have a keen interest in weightlifting and spend a few evenings a week working on this. At the weekends I can usually be found visiting family or meeting friends and more recently, tending to my veg patch in the garden.

Most importantly, I am kept busy being a slave to my 3 cats – Lady Florence, Baroness Penelope and Dame Edith.

⭐Meet The Team - Vicki⭐

I've worked for VetPartners since 2017, in practice at Chantry Vets, as a BSM and most recently in the Property Team, supporting practices with refurbishments and practice design.

I started my career in banking, before jumping ship to the wonderful world of veterinary care in 2005.

I'm dog mum to Harry, a cockerpoo puppy, and we love visiting new places and exploring the Yorkshire countryside.

I love history and archaeology, especially Ancient Greece, which means I'm constantly adding destinations to my holiday bucket list. Weekends are spent relaxing with family and friends.

⭐Meet The Team - Hayley⭐

I have worked in the veterinary industry since I was 16 years old as a veterinary nurse including a stint nursing in Australia for a few years.

My role at Vetpartners is as Farm Coordinator. It is a very varied role and I love it! I help support our farm teams across our business, the Farm executive board and our stake holders in any way i am needed. This includes organising CPD events, meetings, attending events , conferences and careers fairs. I also help with onboarding of our new grad vets which I love. My door is always open to any query or worries that anyone may have.

My home life is just as varied and busy! Some would say chaotic but I prefer ‘lively’! I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren which keep me busy. Also the usual mix of rescue and hand reared animals that all vet nurses tend to acquire and keep! These include 5 dogs, chickens, a rabbit & a guinea pig and also a pet wallaby. I am also very fortunate to have a very lovely, kind and tolerant husband!

I love to spend time with my family and friends and travel whenever we can. I am also very happy with a good book and a cuppa .….or a G&T….or a glass of wine…or both!

⭐Meet The Team - Maisie⭐

I’ve been apart of the VetPartners Central Support team for a year and a half, and my current role is helping to support the Integration Partners.

Before this role, I worked at my local vets as a Veterinary Receptionist which I loved and it gave me such valuable experience.
I have just graduated University!

So now in my spare time I love to go walking with my friends – especially in the Yorkshire Dales, going on trips whenever I can, and looking after my crazy dogs – Coco, Sox and Sophie.

⭐Meet The Team - Chessie⭐

I sign emails off as Francesca, but I’m more commonly known as Chessie.

I moved to York in August 2022 and joined the Vet Partners team in March 2023. I have previously worked with horses, managing a yard in Hampshire (where I am from), and as a Groom throughout the winter, over here in York. I went to Swansea University, from which I hold an English Language degree, but more importantly, this is where I started playing lacrosse.

I now play for the Lions Mixed Lacrosse team, with whom I have played against various national teams, including England and Germany.

I also have a crazy horse called Willow, and a weird and wonderful Romanian rescue dog called Betty, who join me in exploring the amazing countryside we have here in Yorkshire.

I love to cycle (fair weather only) and I run with the really friendly, yet competitive, York Postal Harriers running club.

⭐Meet The Team - Heidi⭐

I am Assistant Integration and Operations Project Manager here at VetPartners.

Daily I am helping to support the Integration Partners and also strategic projects.

After working in a veterinary practice for just over two years advising and dispensing as a qualified RAMA, I decided to venture into a support role within VetPartners. Having the understanding of the daily life within a veterinary practice really benefits me within this roll.

In my spare time I enjoy, baking, walking and spending time with my friends and family. Oh and you’ll often find my sat in the passenger seat of a tractor or forager with my partner Jack 😊

⭐Meet The Team - Rhian⭐

I'm Rhian and I am a stock co-ordinator at VetPartners.

I worked at St David Vets in Cardiff when I started college at 16 years old and stayed for many years after that before coming to VetPartners head office.

I've always enjoyed anything stock related which led me in the direction of this role and have been enjoying it ever since, especially working with a great team.

I have a family cat who enjoys to introduce herself when I'm in a Teams meeting. I love to travel and explore as many places as possible in any free time.

I am a keen cricket and hockey player and spent a lot of my spare time training and at games.

I really enjoy Techno music and am trying to learn mixing so I have a set of decks at home to practice.

I own 40 chickens which we keep in the garden at home.

I am a military Spouse and Mum.

I have lived in pretty much every part of the country and abroad.
If you ever venture into central support, just look for the pink desk and you will find me, if they make it in pink I will buy it.

I am easily districted by animals of any species, who doesn’t love a furry cuddle.

I was an ice cream flavour I would be bubblegum

⭐Meet The Team - Hannah B⭐

I am Hannah, I am a stock co-ordinator at VetPartners.

I worked as a Registered Veterinary nurse at the founder VetPartners practice, Minster vets, before coming to VetPartners head office.

I worked with a range of animals and gained my exotic nursing certificate whilst working at minster vets. I loved nursing but I also had a keen interest in all things stock which lead me to this fabulous role!

I have 2 gorgeous young children Louie and Alanah who keep me super busy outside of work. I love spending my free time going on days out with them and enjoying family time.

I am the Senior Equine Coordinator within the Operations Support Team.

I am a fur mama to the cheeky cocker spaniel Buster and I enjoy reading, cooking and working on my novel in my spare time.

I also plan to emigrate to the Norwegian wilderness eventually!

⭐Meet The Team - Anne⭐

I qualified as a vet from Liverpool in 1993 and went into mixed practice initially, then spent some time working at Ashbrook Equine Hospital.

Andy and I bought Ashlands Veterinary Centre in 2000, we joined VetPartners in 2016 and continued running it until 2022.

We have 3 children, and all enjoy motorcycling. I play the trumpet/cornet and have played with Otley Brass Band and the Two Rivers Swing Band.

We took up sailing in 2021, completed the Royal Yachting Association qualifications and started sailing our boat, The Bear, which was a steep learning curve.

⭐Meet The Team - Ruth⭐

I have worked in VetPartners Central Support for 2 years and I am one of the Operations Support Team Leaders.

I have previously worked in insurance within Equine and Pet claims and also have a degree in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation.

I own my gorgeous Connemara, Missey, who can be mistaken for either a beached whale or hippo in the summer months. I also have three cats which I 'share' with my partner, Timmy, Bruno and Rosie. You may have seen their furry faces on some of the VetPartners Facebook competitions set by Marketing.

I love to read and can quite easily get through a 5 book series within 2/3 weeks. If I was ever asked to choose a favourite book I would call it an impossible task.

I came to VetPartners in 2019 after working in hotels and then being an event planner for several years, and have never looked back! I am one of the Operations Support Team Leaders.

I have a pretty epic addiction to strong cups of coffee and go through a cafetiere to myself every morning.

I’m an avid reader and if I could pick any 3 books to take with me on a desert island, they’d be The Passage by Justin Cronin, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens and The Death Head’s Chess Club by John Donoghue

I’m a massive history buff and my favourite part of history is from the Plantagenets to the Stuarts, I can name you any monarch from that period!

My dad was born and raised in northern Ireland and I’ve managed to inherit the Irish eyes, lots of freckles and a love for whiskey

⭐Meet The Team - Cassie⭐

I have worked in VetPartners Central Support for 4 years and I am the Operations Support Manager.

My career has been a blend of Thoroughbred breeding (flat Racehorses), plus Equine and Small Animal nursing.

It has provided me with very fortunate opportunities to work and travel in amazing places with awesome people and gain experience whilst in Newmarket (UK), York (UK), Hunter Valley (AUS), Waikato, (NZ) and Lexington (USA).

I still enjoy exploring, although not as far afield as once before and usually now alongside 4 paws and a wagging tail, from my black Lab ‘Ted’.
