MONDAY IS NOT STARTING OFF ON A GOOD NOTE. WE ARE BEGGING PEOPLE TO STEP UP AND FOSTER SO RESCUES CAN HELP. 8 LIVES HANG IN THE BALANCE. ‼️‼️‼️

‼️ADOPTION RETURN. HENLEY IS AT IMMEDIATE RISK‼️

Status: HIGH RISK

3/10: Adopted at the end of last week and is already back at the shelter 🥺. Henley hasn’t done well with dominant males while at the shelter. His adopters have two and despite staff’s warnings this family insisted they were in love with Henley and would make it work. A weekend is not enough time to provide decompression time and slow proper intros. Long story short Henley was thrown into a household with other dominant males and I am sure can imagine how that went. He was returned this morning and I am sure is feeling defeated. This young vibrant boy desperately needs to make his exit.

Brought in by way of animal control as a stray and hasn’t been reclaimed. Henley has the speed and stamina of a champion thoroughbred. He has lots of energy to burn and would love an active family to adventure with.

This sweet boy thought he’d found his ticket to freedom but his adopters never showed 🥺

This sweet boy has been with us a month now 😔. We hadn’t networked because we were told he had an adopter not long after he arrived. Weeks later Ross is still waiting 💔. We are so sorry we didn’t introduce this sweet face sooner. Ross is a small guy at only 34lbs! He is very sweet and mellow.

Status: HIGH RISK

Came in by way of AC as a stray and was not reclaimed. Adele is completely shut down and scared. Staff can not touch her. She trembles at the back of her run. We have not been notified of any aggressive behavior. I have only seen this girl in passing in my observation she is timid but seems curious. Pending all medical and behavior as she has not been able to be handled. Staff does believe her to be a senior.

Meet Siyah a 3 yr old female shepherd/husky mix she is rescue only due to a bite when the new owner who had only had her a few hours when to pet her face!

This is Rex a 14 German Shepherd mix this poor boy he is here due to a bite from when another dog in the house attacked him and the owner was trying to break up the fight! This totally breaks my heart with this poor old boy. He just wants somebody to give him a home for the rest of the time he has left!

‼️Just released into county custody ‼️

🐾Taz

11/21: I was finally able to capture this girl's true beauty! She loves treats and sits so well for them. I noticed Taz seems more comfortable in her run. The outside world is just so overwhelming to her 🥺.

After 9 long months of waiting, Snoop and her baby Taz have been released into county custody 🥳. My heart simultaneously soared and broke upon receiving the news. These beautiful girls have waited a very long time just to be able to be handled and seen. They are our longest residents intaked on Valentine's Day of this year 💔.

Taz, unlike her mama Snoop, has been very aloof so far. She hasn't been taken aback by the feeling of grass between her toes, the fresh breeze in her face, or the many new smells. All the love and attention the people around her have to offer doesn't impress her much. Taz's main focus is the fence that still confines her. What Taz craves more than anything is true freedom. During our time out together, Taz was hyperfocused on the fence and the freedoms on the other side. She was intent in finding a break in that fence line. Any way to get out of the walls that have confined her for nine grueling months. She, like her mama, deserves her freedom more than anything after all they've endured. The shelter floor can't be their end.

THIS IS JJ HE WAS AN OWNER SURRENDER HE IS 2.5 YRS OLD AND NOT GOOD WITH CATS!
He is a medical adoption due to having kennel cough! Which is kind of like the flu he has been on an antibiotic while being here if you have other dogs you would just keep them separate until he has been on the medicine the allotted time!
This poor boy doesn’t understand why he is here after living with his owner his whole life
He needs someone to take the time with him to show him love! Please come to meet him
