PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure your dogs are on heartworm prevention. We rescued Nora a few months ago, she was heartworm positive, and she has been on meds with HSTB preparing for her first injection today. It is so hard to watch them go through this. They can’t play for months, the injections hurt and they are uncomfortable. The cost of prevention is nothing compared to the pain of treatment. The good news is that it can be cured. It’s just a tough journey. Many thanks to those that have sponsored her treatment. She will be healthy and looking for her family soon ❤️🐾
Fun night at TBBC for Oktoberfest. The only dog I know that truly loves wearing a hat. Such a good boy and an even better advocate for the bully breeds. Made friends with kids, other dogs and even learned a little pong. Life is too short not to share it with a pittie ❤️❤️ #zeusandmarcolife

Nora starts her treatment today. Lessons learned about her - she is a lovebug!!! She needs a home that is looking for a companion - not a dog. She would prefer kisses and hugs over treats. She is incredibly gentle. She has a lot of energy and will need a yard once she is done with her shots in November. She smiles - huge!! She loves life! Everything is exciting to her.. a garage door, her reflection, car rides. The next few months will be challenging since she has to be still but she is alive and healing. And looking for her forever home.

Proud as hell of this girl so I’m going post this video a few ways. This is the very first day Nora and I worked together. Last week she was scheduled for euthanasia because everyone walked by her and didn’t see the magic behind that pittie smile. Today she is mastering basic commands like a rockstar and looking forward to finding her new family. We are honored to have rescued her and cannot wait to see what lucky family gets to welcome here home. She is one very special girl! Rescue trumps breeder every day of the week and twice on Sunday! #adoptdontshop
