Son of a Beach Family Farm raises an Angus beef herd and Heritage Breed Hogs (Berkshire and Duroc). The entire process from birth to finishing takes place on the Family Farm. No artificial steroids, hormones, or antibiotics are given to the cattle or hogs that are consumed. The farm believes and practices values such as sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and animal husbandry. No-till and co

ver cropping are a few of the resources we use for our land management. Beach Family Farm has the reputation in the area for producing great tasting beef and pork along with having multiple Grand Champions in performance carcass cattle at the Green County Fair and Wisconsin State Fair. We take great pride in raising Angus and Crossbred beef cattle and heritage breed hogs from start to finish so you know exactly where and how the food that you consume comes from. Little back story...
I've been wanting to work with a local downtown business for awhile now but wasn't feeling like some of the options were a good fit. And I didn't want to settle for something that didn't feel perfect.

Cue 608 the Factory moving to the square in Monroe. I instantly fell in love with this store as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere that Suzanne has created in her store is a total vibe! If you are local or visiting Monroe you HAVE to check it out!!

It's been quiet on here but life has been anything but...

Quick update time!

We've officially finished calving.
Officially finished planting.
Farmer's markets have begun and we'll be at the Dane County Farmer's market and the Fitchburg market again this year.
The school year for the kids and me is almost done. And we are all so ready for summer! ☀️

After having quite a few tallow customers tell me that their husbands love SOB Whipped Tallow Balm as much as them, I knew I needed to try out a more masculine scent for all those men so they can stop stealing their wives' tallow balm..introducing Cypress.

Andy: Why do you cook it so many times? Can't you just do it once?

Me: Ew, no.

I wouldn't say making Tallow Balm is hard. Sure I have gone through my trials and errors. But it's definitely a process. The first small batch rendering officially turns the beef suet into tallow and removes a large amount of impurities. After that I wet render the tallow two more times and then dry render it to remove any moisture.

After that I can whip it up into the amazing ultra luxurious Whipped Tallow Balm that we all love to love. *chef's kiss*
