Dear Friend Activists --- They were trying to protect the earth and all of us too. I am reaching out in all ways for sending the awareness to you that these 30 PEACEFUL ACTIVISTS FROM MANY COUNTRIES ARE STILL IMPRISONED IN RUSSIA. Today is the Global International weep for awareness and action to get them free. Please use the links on this page link http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/news/Blogs/makingwaves/30-things-to-do-for-the-arctic-30/ blog/46992/ (this link is broken so both will be on one message here, so connect after arctic-30/ ) to help support getting them free, Russia has petitioned to keep them three more months. For misdemeanor they could have had one week tops. But they face 10 years now. Please pass this on!

While the world governments gather in Warsaw to solve the climate crisis, the oil industry meets behind closed doors in Oslo to discuss how to extract oil from beneath the frozen Arctic.
Greenpeace Norge activists were there to send a strong message to the oil executives attending the Arctic Oil and Gas Conference: it’s time to stop putting sensitive areas at risk to explore for oil the world cannot afford to burn.
The Arctic 30 have been detained for 55 days in Russia for a peaceful protest against Gazprom and the Arctic oil race.
