Skye Pony and I teamed up to produce this clutch. She loaned me a beautiful female Miami Motley het Amel Cinder that I paired with my high white Butter het Motley Cinder Sunkissed. 10 eggs were laid and all 10 hatched. We also got a double clutch of 9 more eggs from this pairing. Here are photos of the parents and first shed pics of the babies. Click images for descriptions.

Palmettos! All 13 eggs from my Palmetto X het Palmetto pairing have hatched. This was the second of a double clutch from this pair. Finished with 5 Palmettos, 2 Amel Palmettos, 4 het Palmettos and 2 Amel het Palmettos.

Christmas Palmettos! 6 eggs hatched from my Palmetto x het Palmetto pairing and a surprise Amel het showed up! Got 2 Palmettos, 1 Amel Palmetto, 1 het Palmetto and 2 Amel het Palmettos. On top of all that, my female Palmetto double clutched and laid another 13 eggs!

Here are first shed photos of my recently hatched clutch. Pairing was High White Butter X Caramel Miami. It looks like I whiffed on the Cinder het that I was hoping for, but a surprise Motley het showed up! I've included photos of all 17 babies as well as the Sire and Dam. Another late clutch of 20 eggs! Sire- Het Palmetto, Dam- Amel Het Palmetto.

These eggs are being laid as I type this. Another unusually late clutch. Pairing is Ultramel Candycane het Caramel Cinder (Walter Smith) x High White Butter het Sunkissed ph Cinder ( Walter Smith lines). I was about to give up on this pairing for this season, but better late than never. Some of my snakes seem to think that fall is spring. Excited to see what comes out of these eggs. I'll post an update when she's done laying.

I'm getting some unusually late clutches this year. These eggs are from a Het Palmetto x Palmetto pairing that were laid on Oct. 19th. Unfortunately I was out of town when these were laid, but I had my father in law checking in and he was able to collect the eggs and get them in the incubator, but not before some of them were severely dented. They were all white when laid, so I don't think there were any slugs, but several have since turned brown. 7 look super nice so hopefully they all hatch and maybe I'll get lucky and get a few of the others to hatch as well. I also have a female Amel het Palmetto that appears to be gravid, so maybe I'll be getting eggs from her soon.

A freshly laid late clutch of eggs! 17 of them. Sire is a high white Butter het Sunkissed, ph Cinder and dam is Caramel Miami het Sunkissed, Amel or Ultra, ph Cinder. Both are from Walter Smith lines.

Ultramel Shatter. One day old. World’s first???

Clutch # 2 for me was laid a few days ago. It was a rough labor for this first time mom. She laid 11 good eggs, 4 slugs, and wasn’t able to pass the last egg. Had to take her to a vet to get it removed. She’s doing fine now.

Sire- Caramel Miami Shatter 66% ph Amel ( Walter Smith)

Dam- Golddust Miami het Sunkissed 50% ph Cinder ( Walter Smith lines)

I’m excited to see what pops out of these eggs and hoping both hets prove out. A Golddust Miami Shatter would be pretty cool!

My first clutch of the season was laid yesterday. 14 eggs from a couple of first time breeders.

Sire- Caramel Miami Shatter 66% ph Amel (Walter Smith)
Dam- Ultramel het Sunkissed Cinder (Tom Thompson)

I'm really hoping to connect on the possible Amel het with the Caramel Shatter, but they should make some cool babies either way.

I'd like to thank Skye Pony for loaning me this beautiful female Miami Motley het Amel Cinder! Our plan is to pair her with my male Peppermint het Caramel Bloodred pos het Motley. Gonna find out if he carries the Motley gene. Should make some nice babies either way.
