Update ... well we reached out to all the sanctuaries and all are full. So we are going to try to secure the fencing the best we can and pray a sanctuary steps up. Most sanctuaries won't take a animal unless in an abuse case or a media storm story. Plus they don't want steers that are tuff to handle like black angus because of the liability to there volunteers. They try to take in more docile cows. So back to the drawing board. We could use some help with purchasing fencing to keep them safe.

Tammy Seely-Hembree this may pass a few of but in my world it all comes down to being responsible.....

If you buy a dog, you're at fault for shelters being full.

If you adopt, you're to blame for getting a dog with weak genetics.

If you use a prong collar you're abusive.

If you don't train force-free, you don't love your dog.

If you don't punish your dog, your relationship will suck.

If you do punish your dog, you'll destroy whatever relationship you have with them.

If you crate your dog, you're abusive.

If your dog gets into something, you're irresponsible.

If you go to dog parks, you're ruining your dog.

If your dog never plays with other dogs it'll be anti-social.

If you're a dog owner like me then this is just the very beginning of a never-ending list of things that make you feel like you just can't ever win.

Here's my little secret to you: you can't and won't ever win, so STOP TRYING TO!

Stop trying to make them happy with how you live with your dog. Stop listening to all the noise coming your way. Shut off the podcasts, stop reading the blogs, and take a break from the dog social media world and you'll soon realize how much it impacts your relationship with your dog.

The never-ending messages of not being good enough that you, the average dog owner, are being inundated with daily is enough to make even the best, most knowledgeable, and committed dog owners second guess and question themselves.

My advice to you is to stop focusing on all those messages. Find the way that feels and works best for you and solely focus on that.

To hell with what they say or think about your life with your dog!

Stick to living your best life with your four-legged pals and let them keep rambling on! If you're happy, your dog's happy, and y'all are enjoying your relationship with each other, then you’ve already won!
