Huge congrats to Jamar Hitchcock-Smith for all his recent wins with Baku and Mei. Baku recently earned his CM as well as his ATT - with all perfect scores I might add - and Mei became the first female shikoku and second dog in the breed to earn her CM3 🥳 Awesome accomplishments all around!

Hope everyone has been weathering this heat wave alright. The dogs and I have been taking it easy, getting caught up on farm chores when we can. Koda performed the role of official berry-picking supervisor like an old pro and was rewarded with an egg fresh out of the coop for his troubles 🤣

Meet Bao, a very sweet boy from our 2023 Yuuka x Kai litter who came back to us through no fault of his own. He will be staying with us for a little while to reinforce foundations and training but will eventually be looking for a family of his own. He is fully crate and house trained, UTD on vaccines, and still intact. So far he is still eager to meet new people and does well with other dogs with proper introductions. We will be testing how he does with small animals while he's here. If interested in potentially adding this boy to your family, please shoot us a message 😊

The crew is headed home from UKC Premier Nationals 2025. Premier is always great for catching up with everyone and we enjoy our annual trips out there. Helps that Michigan has more breweries than people 🤣

Another day of FCAT for the girls - and Boku's first time running. She didn't quite understand the game her first run but figured it out and had a blast for her second run lol

We had a great time supporting Altoona Area KC's first set of Open shows these past two days. Very proud of how all the dogs performed - especially Akatsuki for it being his first show, and Fuji, this being her second. Both pups have been putting in the hours at handling class and it showed 😊 Despite the wind, rain, mud, and crowded pavilion, they took it in stride, getting more confident each day. From here they'll only get better!

Ushi also tagged along to play in CABT, earning his CA and another leg toward his CAA 🥳
