This morning we welcomed an incredibly special litter here. Of course all our litters are special but our Mei, our first bred-by from the first ever Aoiyama Sou litter, gave birth to the very first litter of second generation puppies in our kennel.

She whelped six chubby, squealing puppies in about record time and is doing an excellent job mothering them so far. Mei has accomplished so much in her 3 years and continues to be an amazing breed ambassador. I'm so excited to watch her puppies grow ❤️

We do still have a few spots available on our waitlist if interested in a puppy 😊

We just wrapped up the UKC Eastern Classic which thankfully was held in Lebanon again. I will always appreciate shows I only have to drive 30min for 🤣

The dogs dabbled in both confo and precision coursing and although the courses are . . . much smaller than they're used to in AKC 😅 the dogs still had fun and that's what matters - although I'm a little salty the trials filled up so fast. Maya only needed one more run for her title 😭 She also got to reconnect with her half brother Haru who came to us earlier this year and is on co-own. All around a great weekend catching up with some of my east coast UKC friends who I haven't seen much this year.

Don't carry on playing victim stating how the club is gatekeepy and unwelcoming and then pull your dogs every time you have breed competition at a show while also actively shunning all attempts at building an FSS community. Your attitude is the problem, not us. Talk about poor sportsmanship 🙃

The crew is headed home after our 2nd annual JACUSA Nihon Ken Heritage Specialty show in Athens, TN. Huge thank you to the club and Judge Lynn Martin for putting together such a great show. There was an excellent turnout this year and it was great to see everyone 🤗 The pups did really well for just being thrown in the ring after minimal showing this year. Proud of my chaos monsters, especially Koda who is now a UKC Grand Champion pending approval 🥳
