Retired K9 Kane is in need of your help! K9 Kane has started chemotherapy treatment, and will be continuing treatment for the next several months to help him fight cancer. We are hopeful that after his chemo treatments he will be in remission and can continue to enjoy his retirement. Yesterday, it was -9° F at night and I was not permitted to play ball outside. Today, it is a balmy 7° F and I got to take my ball out. After the first toss, it was buried in the snow. Even my hooman could not find it. Good news: my brother is a police K9 and he knows how to find things. Bad news: My hooman let him play with the ball inside as a reward.

My K9 brudder isn’t working this week. Usually, he is off with the tall one while I watch over the house & office. This week he wants to share the lady one and also wrestle with me. It’s going OK. I wonder how long is “only a few more days”...

I’m watching a dog training video - even though it's just a lecture. I ran over when Geno put it on. I’ve been watching for over 9 min. & still no dogs. I woofed softly but the guy can’t find his dog. Sometimes I get tired & rest my head. Bully won’t watch.

I’ll start. When my roommate hears a siren, he starts to wail and mimics the pitch as if it is a very sad song. He also tries to lick people in the face.

I have two ChuckIt balls & Bully has no ChuckIt balls. My brudder and I each had one and I thought his was better than mine. Now I have the one he had and mine. Even though there’s a third one behind me, I needed the one Bully had. So now I can relax & enjoy and soon he’ll go to “work”.

I got to spend two nights at sleep away camp this week. When my human came to get me, I was excited but I also was thinking playing a bit longer with my friends might be fun. Why, yes, there was a small pool on the playground. Why do you ask?

This book has dogs in it & people who love dogs. Love it but do not eat it. (sigh) My human says this author (who is super smart bc she also has a golden doodle and another doodle) is terrific. The Dog Town series is light and lovely like a healthy literary snack but with doggos. Also -- there is a character NAMED AFTER ME! Really, it's not a coincidence. Miss Sandy is a fan of mine. The doggo in the book isn't just like me but he is super sweet and soft (in a good way) like me. I think sometimes he is less brave than me but also a Very Good Boy.

I had a spa day this week. I wasn’t too keen on getting my picture taken before heading out though - so I may have been giving a little attitude in that shot. My model friends say you should have attitude but I just wanted to go for the R I D E that was promised. I felt great after though.

Focus is difficult when I’ve been on the DL with some paw issues for a couple days (all I want to do is run). Still need more work on recognizing hand signals instead of verbal commands too.
