UPDATE: Onyx and Slate: Their adopters report that They are doing very well! Slate is much braver now and has let me pet him several times. Onyx is a lover and has been very happy to get extra attention. Both boys are playful and love to cuddle. We are SO happy for our Walmart boys. 🩶🖤

Costume Contest: Here are all of our contestants for the costume contest! Whichever pet wins the costume contest will receive $25 and an exclusive Build-A-Bear Pumpkin Cat. I’m a day late, but 10/4 is the date that I found Pumpkin the cat. He was such a loving, funny and smart cat. Pumpkin had Feline Leukemia and is the inspiration/mascot for our rescue. We miss him so much. We hope everyone has a good spooky season. 🎃🧡

ADOPTION #15 : Buddy! Buddy went to his new home today. His new adopter is very excited to have him. She wanted to take in Buddy (who is declawed) and give him a new home. He will even have a catio! We love you Buddy! We hope you love your new home!

“Buddy the cat. What’s your favorite color?” Is it grey? If so, Buddy could be your next best friend! Buddy came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Now he is looking for his new forever home. Buddy is playful and is very loving. We aren’t sure how he is with cats or dogs but he seems very loving. We think Buddy would do well as a family cat with plenty of people who can show him attention. Life has been hard lately; On Saturday I had to say goodbye to Jo (our rescue cat that was adopted by our director) , and I had closed our intakes because we are just dealing with a lot right now, but when one of your amazing former coworkers contacts you about a cat in need, you jump right in with hopes that our supporters can help.
