What up insta, it’s been a while.
Sorry for not posting, we have been grinding instead!
Just a few of our club members and club dogs. Stay tuned for some more of our club content!
Our friend has been eager to put a suit on and get in front of a dog.
We’ve been taking our training routines very serious over the last few months as we’re prepping to trial this year.
Astro has been rocking every session as of late so we figured we’d put him to the test by taking Jaclynn up on her offer of wanting to stand in front of him!
We’re super proud of both of them, Astro hit like a truck and although he wasn’t getting the feedback he’s use to he still muscled through her!
@jaclynn.williams_ killed it for someone with limited knowledge about decoying and her first time ever standing in front of a dog.
Remember, no matter how serious you are about something, how dedicated you are, don’t forget to stop and have some fun along the way, Enjoy the journey!
Happy training everyone! 😊🐶
We spend a lot of time training pet obedience but did you know we also offer protection training? 🚨🥊
After King and his owners completed their obedience sessions with us they were looking for another fun activity for their very active dog to be used as an outlet.
We tested King for protection, naturally he had a fantastic bark and would definitely deter a threat, however as soon as the threat came forward and he bit the sleeve and felt as if he was hurting someone he immediately spit the sleeve tucked tail and ran to hide.
Seeing the potential he had in the beginning and us breaking down everything about why the dog reacted the way he did his owners decided to move forward with more protection sessions.
This is a 3 minute uncut unedited video showing some of King’s progression. We still have things to clean up but we’re very happy with the improvement he’s made. Very active, loves being in the fight and biting like he means it. 💪🏻
Stay tuned to see how King keeps improving, we got a real CONTROLLED monster in the making!😈
Here at King-K9 we believe no puppy is to young to start training!🐶
In our top of the line puppy foundation program we ensure your puppy is properly socialized, learns basic leash manners. Sit, down and place all on command, crate/potty training and of course the beginning stages of a recall (properly teaching your puppy it’s name and what it means)!
If you’re planning on doing advanced off leash obedience with your dog when it’s old enough, there’s no better way to start then our puppy foundation program! Putting the best possible foundation on you and your puppy!

Puppy Luring
No puppy is to young to start training!
In this video we show you how to start luring your puppy into the (eventually) desired positions.
This puppy is just 7 weeks old, that’s right only 7 weeks!
This was also his first time doing luring to food. By no means is it perfect but not to shabby for his first time!
No he can not hold any of these positions for long periods of time (yet;) We add no direct command at the beginning at all actually.
Just simply begin to create the correct movements for the dog, this way when we do start adding the actual command and holding the puppy to higher expectations this is all going to be muscle memory for him.
Making the end result of the training have a much cleaner look as well as making it easier for the handler because again, this will all become muscle memory to the puppy!
Happy training everyone!😊🐶
Bark on command!
A very fun, yet easy command to teach! Especially if you have a high drive dog such as a Shepard.
A great command to help bring more drive into obedience, and no just because a dog can bark on command does NOT mean you have a protection dog or that your dog will bite for real. Only 1 of these 4 dogs will actually bring the fight for real and I bet you wouldn’t guess which one either.
We demonstrate in this video, 4 completely different breeds doing some bark on command, some our personal dogs and even a board and train, you don’t have to be a professional to teach this command! Trust me😉.
If your interested in learning how to start teaching this command, feel free to send us a dm and we can walk you through it.
No shake a paw around here, just real world training with real results, time and time again, dog after dog, we’re always here getting it done! 💪🏼
Happy training everyone!😊🐶
