We've been working on nice behaviours around cats as Teddy will be living with one once he's trained.
His and Lara's first meeting was via smell a few weeks ago - Teddy had a visit and Lara was let in the room after he'd left so she could learn about Teddy without meeting him face to face.
Since then they've been gradually introduced with a person between them and Teddy being rewarded for looking at Lara and checking in with me. Gradually they've both been confident to move closer together with both being rewarded for calm, gentle behaviours
Today was the closest they got and were both calm and happy in each others company
