We love being a part of the Santa Rosa Valley 4-H Club! Last night we hosted Vet Science at our farm and had a meeting with a food safety veterinarian. The kids also got to watch NENN Equine perform a dental on one of our rescue horses. The kids LOVE the hands on learning. This is an incredible program and we are proud to be a part of it.

Rescued 18 year old Belgian Draft. Tim came from a working farm and has some scars to prove it. Prefers to keep his distance from people. Will lead when haltered but difficult to catch. Enjoys being groomed. Looking for an easy life, would make a great companion horse. Located in Moorpark.

When Zack was little he insisted we couldn’t be a farm without cows. We are now officially a farm! Welcome Simon Cowell (black ears) and Howard Steern (brown ears). These mini highland cattle came from a loving local farm, when they got bigger than expected they wanted them to go somewhere with more space for them to roam. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to the farm!

Jake and Bobby went to their forever homes! Both saved due to our efforts! We actually saved Bobby’s mom Fancy who days latter still in quarantine had baby Bobby! He was hospitalized for several days with pneumonia, but he pulled through! We had him at the farm for the last year making sure he was ok, and now his real life can begin! So excited for these two!

Nash getting some late night training! We work all hours at the farm and this Tennessee Walker has been a challenge. He was so afraid when we first rescued him, but we are starting to build more trust. He is available for adoption so someone can give him the attention he deserves.

Sally was adopted today and went to her forever home! What an amazing horse. Sally was a branded wild caught Mustang that to no fault of her own ended up at auction. When kill buyers started to bid we stepped in to save her from slaughter. Now she gets to live her best life with a new best friend. Our hearts are happy today.
