Can you believe Willow is still available for adoption?! This sweet and regal lady is around 7 years old, and still looking for her forever home. We rescued Willow at death’s door, and she’s made great progress!

However, Willow does not get along with other cats, so she will need to be adopted alone.

Pixie, our last female kitten is doing so great with humans! Once she warmed up to them, she’s discovered the loves all the attention and affection! On top of all that, she’s beautiful!

This is the 10th cat we’ve rescued from the Meadowlands project. How cute is this boy! We believe he is around 6 months old, and will be headed to the vet to get fixed then will be ready for adoption!

We still have so many cats that need help from our current sad situation in Meadowlands. There are over 15 cats in need of rescuing, with many needing significant medical care. We will be starting a fundraiser to try to cover our bills, which are now over $10,000.

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Ivy did too - she got lots of love and presents from her foster family, but this sweet girl is still looking for her forever home!

Ivy is 5-6 years old, and is just the most loving and affectionate cat! However, she doesn’t get along with other animals, and would need to be adopted as an only pet.

EVE (Lola) UPDATE

Just a short update as I do see many messages coming in but unable to respond to all. Merry Christmas everyone, your little Christmas Eve kitty is holding her own. She is still at Exploits Animal Hospital receiving the best care, right now it is on an emergency basis. The good news is she is stable and comfortable. These are pictures of her rubbing and meowing at her cage for attention from vet staff. 🥹 This is one tough Christmas cookie.

If you missed the previous update, FSAR Feral Soul Animal Rescue has confirmed via microchip that this is their recently adopted cat Lola. She was adopted March 2024 and living in Peterview.
She was rescued December 2024 in Sandy Point after being seen for a few days. She was sent to the vet for an overall health assessment and it was discovered she had been shot. This was not a recent event, it happened long enough ago that the wound had almost healed over. ‼️Anyone with any information about this criminal act, please come forward.‼️ Someone shot her and there needs to be brought to justice. This is an ongoing RCMP investigation. All information will be kept confidential and passed on to them.

Eve (Lola) could have been shot in Peterview while she was living there, Sandy Point where she was rescued or anywhere in between. Please continue to share. Adoption update - Sonya’s Hope alum Raffy is continuing to love his new life, and is already best friends with his new sister! We are t so happy for him!

Today we are highlighting one of our senior cats, Peanut! We are waiving her adoption fee from now until the end of the year in the hopes that she can find her forever home.

Peanut is around 11 years old, is isn’t shy like other cats we’ve waived the fee for! She will let you know when she wants attention, and she’s come so far since we rescued her.

Peanut doesn’t like other adult cats, but she can do well with kittens.

I wanted to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Barbara who made with her own hands and donated these beautiful blankets. Each of our rescue kitties will have an opportunity to feel warmth and comfort now and when they are adopted into their new home, they can take their blanket with them. Today, we are highlighting Winston - one of our shy cats we are highlighting this Christmas season! We are also waiving his adoption fee from now until the end of the year.

Winston is about 2.5 years old, and has come a long way from the feral cat we first met. He gets along well with most cats, but can be a bit shy around humans at first.

We are still looking for a foster or adopter for him! Please reach out if you or someone you know might be interested.

Meadowlands Rescue Update. I can't believe that I am writing this and again asking for help. Opie had his dental yesterday and ended up with pneumonia and is fighting for his life. I took him to PVSEC after I noticed that he had very labored breathing, coughing, and his temperature was 106.6. Very dangerous levels as at 107 he can go into organ failure. I wish there were a place to go where the prices are more reasonable but when they need to be hospitalized, there is no other option for us. The low end of the estimate was $3000 for one night. The high end is $6000. Opie had to stay a second night so the bill will be well over $6000 to $7000 as oxygen is very expensive. If you have not already donated, any help with this is appreciated as this project has become astronomical in expense. PayPal or Venmo is .
