Meadowlands rescue project update. Our little Copper who came to us very sick, on the brink of death, is healthy and was finally able to be adopted today. He was adopted under our seniors program where his adoption fee waived and future medical expenses covered. If you are 72 years of age, the cat is at least 11, and you are approved, you will qualify. One requirement is that if you are no longer able to care for the cat, they come back to us. Have a great life Copper! You touched our lives like no other. What a special little boy...actually big...he went from 9 pounds and very sick to a 13 pound healthy boy!!

How beautiful is Caroline?! We can’t believe she is still available for adoption! Caroline is around two years old, and one of the bigger female cats we’ve seen. She is very healthy, and gets along well with humans and other cats. What’s not to love?! ♥️

Sweet Carly is still available for adoption! She’s acclimated to her foster home really well! Carly loves to snuggle at night, roams the house without any issues, and gets along with the rest of the cats in the house.

Plus, she’s beautiful - who would’ve be in love?! ♥️

This handsome guy wants everyone to know he’s still available for adoption—and he’s more than ready to find a loving home to call his own!

Ty showed up in Brenda’s backyard, unchipped and unfixed, but full of charm and curiosity. Since then, he’s proven to be a sweet, social, and healthy boy who just wants love and attention. We estimate he’s around 4 years old, and he’s got the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back cuddles.

Ivy is still patiently waiting for her forever home! She’s been with Sonya’s Hope almost two years now, we can’t figure out why! She’s such a sweet and goofy cat that just wants to be by your side all the time. She also loves to play!

Ivy is around six years old, and would do best in another home without other cats or dogs. She would also be great for a first time cat owner.

Are you looking for a feisty young cat with energy to spare? If so, Maycie is your girl! Maycie is about three years old, and has provided us with so much excitement! But, now she’s ready for her forever home.

Maycie would likely do best as an only cat, but might be okay with proper introductions and a patient owner as she currently lives with two, one of which she gets along perfectly with.

Hello all, Brenda here. Our rescue, Sonya's Hope for Felines, is being recognized by the superintendent and school board next week, Wednesday, April 16th at 7:00 pm. If you don't know, that is my employer and they are recognizing me and the organization for our commitment to community service. If we have helped in any way, or if you would like to show your support, please stop by. We would love to see you there. The meeting is usually held at the school but will be held at Western Area career and Technology Center, 688 Western Ave, Canonsburg, PA. Thank you so much!!!

Peanut is still hoping to find her forever home 🥺 She is one of our senior cats that we rescued on death’s door, and has been with us in foster care for over two years now. Peanut is likes people and is affectionate, but does not like other cats. She can be okay with kittens if they have a proper introduction.
