Back in 1980, the first Mikki product to hit the market was the infamous Mikki Muzzle, this contemporary update on the traditional basket muzzle was loved by dog trainers as it allowed the feeding of treats whilst training – the first muzzle available on the market to do this. Four years later, Mikki launched its first ever range of grooming products - made by groomers, for groomers and since then, Mikki has led the way in developing quality products that really work. β€œGrooming your dog is a VERY important, and it is so important to research any grooming needs before you decide on a breed of dog to get/adopt. So many dogs go neglected and become matted from owners who are either unaware of their grooming needs or don’t provide them with the appropriate maintenance.

Grooming is so important as not only does it make your dogs feel nice and look nice, matting can cause so much pain for dogs and can give them hematomas and skin infections. So many doodle owners get dogs without doing prior research and as a result so many dogs suffer, and doodle owners get a horrific reputation as a result. Don’t be those people. If your dog doesn’t like being brushed or you don’t want to brush your dog, then even a regular grooming schedule can keep your dog matt free.”
