We provide a safe, permanent home for special needs seniors & hospice dogs. We are limited on how many dogs we take in; this is based on needs and funds. All dogs are provided constant vet care and necessary medications, including heartworm & flea/tick prevention. We are always in need of: p*e pads, dog food, frontline (dogs up to 22 lbs). Medical Update: Martha did great during her dental! I have been putting it off since she started having seizures but it needed to be done. She had her last 2 teeth pulled and 2 fistulas closed. She is "entering" kidney failure but caught early enough to change her food. Sadly, Barney is in late term kidney failure. He will let us know when he stops eating. Florence has stopped coughing! Heart meds and meds for her trachea are working. Norman's thyroid levels are holding steady at a normal range so no more med adjustments. I need a week long nap now.....

A little more info on Barney....he is on medication for epilepsy. Hoping it is all part of the severe malnutrition condition he was found in. He is very shaky but that should stop as he gets stronger. He certainly gets his steps in exploring the yard!
