Sunday Funday!! Also known as feeding day😉We have the best eaters around💪🏼
Today was an interesting feeding day! We fed our critters later than usual as we were busy earlier in the day and let’s just say that everyone was definitely ready! At the end we included a full clip of our good friend Tuna taking his meal and enjoying a fun game of tug of war. We love to make sure everyone gets enrichment!🥰
Our favorite day and yours…feeding day! Today Pepper has taken the crown for being the fastest eater - 5 seconds of introducing the rat and he attached it! 🐀
Is your snake giving you trouble eating? Here is a short video summarizing how we assist feed our false water cobra! Amphitrite is 3 months old and refused every meal we tried to feed her and when I say we tried everything - we tried EVERYTHING! Amphitrite was losing weight which is never good to see especially in a baby so we had to do what every snake owner dreads; force feeding. Since then, Amphitrite has still not taken a meal on her own, but is now open to assist feeding! We start by gently pressing the prey to their mouth to get them interested. After she opens her mouth we put the prey in and encourage her to bite down. You can see in the video that she begins to swallow and work the prey down and we help her with that process by making her slither. 😊
And that concludes a fantastic Sunday! Please excuse Miso’s enclosure, she loves to move things around and make a mess. And as for juniper, we did not let her almost drown herself, we safely removed her from her water dish😇
Today we traveled to the New England Reptile Expo, not as vendors but as customers! We saw so many amazing reptiles and vendors that I had to put together this compilation 💕
A good ending to a good week😌We’re happy to show some new faces in this weeks feeding video! Stay scaly 🐍
2 little anole friends going into the terrarium! Cycling and then there will be dart frogs added🦎🐸
Today is everybody’s favorite…feeding day! I took some more videos of our best eaters for your entertainment😌
Feeding day has come again!🐀As usual, we didn’t include our shy eaters and let them do their thing on their own terms. Juniper has sized up to rat pups today, and we were able to get a great video of Aurora! Happy Sunday!
Feeding day! Unfortunately we were only able to record 4 out of our collection as the rest are shy eaters. My favorite clip is Jasper at the end - If I had to guess what he is thinking, it might go something like this: “Is this for me? Is it okay if I take this dad?”
