Ned and Cleo back story 🥰
Cleo was found on her own cold, hungry and had so many fleas her skin was black, layers upon layers of fleas! She was anaemic, weak, malnourished and struggled to survive. Mum spend hours combing as many fleas as possible off her tiny frail body. She was too little to have any treatment. We later found out that she is 90% blind. She can see nothing out of her right eye, and only shadows out of her left. She had to be kept separated incase she had anything she may pass onto the other babies. Because you just never know.
She managed to survive the night. A few days later, she suddenly got really bad diarrhea. She went lethargic and started to shut down. I decided it was time to introduce her to Ned. She needed another being to feel and snuggle up to. Fast forward to today, she is recovering from a bad cold, and is finally on the mend! Cleo is about 7 weeks old now. 💞
Ned, he was found crying, alone wet and hungry at only 2 weeks old, the day after we got him, he went lethargic and floppy. We thought he was going to die, so we rushed him to the emergency vet, his sugar levels were incredibly low and needed fluid, and glucose. We were given a vitamin gel that was high in glucose to give him every hour until he had his energy back to eat. I bottle fed him until he was 4 weeks old, where he started eating solid food (soft kitten paté), his stomach decided it was no longer going to tolerate the kitten formula milk, he was throwing up when he ate it. So we had to wean him really early. He was doing well, and then he got diarrhea, and a cold. He recovered from that, then recently had to be rushed to the vet again as he had a temp of 104!! Diarrhea again and another cold. He has been a sickly baby. Both are finally on the mend after a long journey. Ned is now 9 weeks old! 💞
The entire time these sweet babies have been in our care, we have had wonderful people sending healing to them. 🙏💚
