Thanksgiving is always a time when people come together to share what they’re thankful for, and we have something to be extra thankful for this year.

🥁🥁 drum roll…..

Snoopy and Nemo are adopted … TOGETHER!!!

This dynamic duo found their forever home with the most precious mama. After six weeks of getting to know each other, Nemo went to a 2 week board and train with while Snoopy transitioned to his new home to start adjusting. Nemo joined her family and both are continuing to work on settling into their new place. Their new family is so committed to their success, and we could not have asked for a better opportunity for these two lovebugs. Nemo, now Clover ☘️, already has her mama’s boyfriend wrapped around her paw (in true Nemo fashion). 😂 Snoopy kept his name and is a total mama’s boy.

Thankfully they are local so we can still love on them from time to time 😉🩷 Go be great Snoopy & Clover!

Speckles went on an out and about today! She was able to stretch her legs and explore some acreage with a volunteer. She loved every second of it! Speckles is a medium energy girl that enjoys sun bathing and cuddling up with a cozy blanket. She does not need a whole lot to be happy!

She had a great time taking a break, but unfortunately is back to spending most of her day in a crate at a boarding facility. Speckles desperately needs a foster home or, better yet, an adoptive home! She has been waiting for so long and doesn’t have the quality of life she deserves while living in boarding.

Ellie, previously Pluto, is ONE!! This medium-sized rottie mix was born with our rescue one year ago. She was recently returned after being adopted in April. Ellie plays hard and loves harder. She takes some time to warm up to others, but once she does it is game on!

We are on the hunt for a few more vendors for our 5th Annual Jingle Bells and Waggin Tails! If you know a local business for any of the following, or another service you think would be great, please tag and/or send our way!

-permanent jewelry
-candles
-bath bombs, soaps, rollers, etc
-woodwork like charcuterie boards, signs, bowls, etc
-dog bandanas, bows,bow ties, and other apparel

We have 5 dogs with training campaigns you can support, as well as a transport campaign! By offering out of state adoptions, we’ve increased our ability to help more dogs find their forever. We personally transport our own dogs, in our own cars, on our own time. They are taken straight to their new family, and we provide direct support on-site. How many other rescues can say this about their out of state adoption process?! … not many!! Today, you can help make more families complete by donating to Love & Paws Rescue🩷🐾

Bridget Update!

Momma Bridget finally got spayed! She had a very rough time with the surgery and the vets were concerned about her chances of recovery. The first night was touch and go, so we took her back to the vet for supportive care and monitoring for the last 24 hours. Momma was discharged this morning and, though we are still taking it slow, she seems much better! This is the first time she’s shown interest in food over the last two days and we couldn’t be happier. Her babies already had their surgeries and recovered wonderfully! One step closer to their forever homes. 🩷🐷
