Bridget Update!
Momma Bridget finally got spayed! She had a very rough time with the surgery and the vets were concerned about her chances of recovery. The first night was touch and go, so we took her back to the vet for supportive care and monitoring for the last 24 hours. Momma was discharged this morning and, though we are still taking it slow, she seems much better! This is the first time she’s shown interest in food over the last two days and we couldn’t be happier. Her babies already had their surgeries and recovered wonderfully! One step closer to their forever homes. 🩷🐷

10/24 Update: Bullitt is still not eating but did try a little water. Lots of nausea and some acid reflux. We are still not out of the woods but are hopeful. Photos in comments.
