Calling all puppies between 5 to 7 months !🐶

Intentional Animalship invites you to join our Introductory Foundation Building Program! This six-session course is designed to establish a strong training foundation, enhancing your puppy’s obedience and engagement in a fun group setting.
Your pup will learn the five essential commands—sit, down, heel, place, and recall— leading up to a bonus session with our Advanced Group Training class, where they’ll put their new skills into action! Plus, they’ll have the chance to make some new four-legged friends along the way! 🐾

Gotta get every last bit of peanut butter!

Lily is becoming quite comfortable with her new custom-fit muzzle! She flourished in our Behavior Modification program, which was specifically tailored to tackle her dog reactivity and aggression. Her owner, Colleen, has invested a tremendous amount of time and effort into improving Lily’s neutrality and obedience throughout our program together. Our muzzle conditioning is designed to provide comfort during unpredictable situations and ensure safe social interactions. We couldn’t be prouder of both of them!

We are thrilled to welcome these two into our Group Training community! Shortly after completing their program, they participated in their first Pack Walk alongside 6 other dogs, where Lily excluded such positive and excited energy—a truly remarkable transformation from where we started!

Having an important meeting in Rio’s office!

In all seriousness, we couldn’t be prouder of Rio and her owner, Carolina! They have put in so much effort to build a positive association with the crate. There was a time when Rio really struggled with crate training, showing great reluctance to enter and becoming frustrated even when the door was briefly closed. During our most recent home visit, she truly showcased her progress, often choosing to relax in her crate all on her own. We are incredibly proud of this team!

Why is engagement so important?
All of our programs begin by teaching owners how to bring their dog’s energy and focus back onto them in a range of settings. This is vital because, although our affection for dogs is mutual, we often compete with external distractions. Engagement is the foundation for all obedience training. Finding fun ways to regain their attention—such as treats, play, or verbal praise—ensures that our dogs remain motivated to work with us rather than viewing it as a diversion from something they find more rewarding. When we have a dog that is excited to collaborate, it becomes much easier to teach them the additional skills they need to flourish, and they will genuinely enjoy the learning experience!

✨GIGI✨ (swipe for her personality pics)

Gigi just started her E-Collar 101 Program! We introduced the e-collar after Gigi completed multiple Behavior Modification sessions. Her owners are working on her reactivity to various environmental changes, such as movement within her household, the sight of children, and the presence of cars, carts, and other fast-moving objects. A lot of Gigi’s behaviors stem from insecurity displayed in “bold” ways! In our initial sessions, we focused on strengthening her bonds with family members, as we believe that establishing boundaries comes after building a solid relationship. Now that Gigi’s confidence and trust have developed, we can refine our communication and build on her ability to exist around triggering things.
