We did a hot pink powder photo shoot with Daisy today! She was such a good girl, and those obedience & agility skills really came in handy, haha. These photos were taken after she got most of the powder blown off of her. I'll share the pro photos when we get them! 💕💕💕

We missed posing in the daffodils last month, so we couldn't pass up this opportunity with the bluebonnets in our own neighborhood. Let's just say this year was more sucessful than last because we all know how to sit & stay, but these three doggos are still GOOBERS!

Someone is super sleepy tonight! Daisy Lou had her first ever agility class today & was so brave! That teeter totter is scary, but she will get used to it. Way to go, my little love bug!!!

This is definitely Daisy Lou! She will act like she can't jump on the couch, and then she'll leap frog over both Dory Belle & Avett to run outside. I hope to get her into agility classes after we hone our beginner's obedience skills!

I dropped some packages off at the post office today, one postal worker looked puzzled, & asked if I had changed packaging. I explained that I switch to bubble mailers during the holidays because the USPS workers are rough on my packages. He agreed (and they know my packaging too well, haha)! Cute photo of Avett, because why not? He's going to test for his CGC on Saturday!

We got our annual Pets Fur People photo with Santa today. It's totally adorable, and Avett's face is cracking me up! Apparently that's the face he makes when you throw a squeaky toy in the air! 🤣😂🤣

This photo makes me all warm & fuzzy. At first Daisy (chiweenie) was afraid of Marigold (cat). The first full day that Daisy was home, Marigold tried to initiate play & Daisy thought she was being attacked! For months she wouldn't even be in the same room as her. It's been about 8 months since that happened. Marigold very carefully snuggled next to Daisy tonight, and Daisy didn't flinch. 🖤🤍🧡🤎

Please do not declaw your cats!

You can see here, cats walk on their toes. When a cat is declawed it’s an amputation to the first joint. Basically the toes are amputated. This changes the way a cat walks and over time causes arthritis to multiple areas of the cats body. Declawed cats often avoid the cat box because of pain in the feet and arthritis in the body….. Please do not declaw your cat 🐾

Marigold had a vet check up today & is guilty of being the sweetest girl! She only likes about 3 people on this planet, so I was pleasantly surprised there was no spicy attitude this morning. Normally we hear, "Uh oh, she's a calico", but she was absolutely delightful! (And had a great check up!)

After about 5 months, my senior foster dachshunds were able to go back home to their mom! 🥰 While we are sad & miss them, we are more happy knowing they are back in her loving care. Bittersweet, but worth it!
