Someone has had a full day already, and it's only a little after 1pm. He found odor 3 out of 4 times today, and completed his novice vehicles title very nonchalantly! Ha!

This was an unexpected surprise! Avett's first AKC title certificate for scentwork. 😁 (I'm new to dog sports/clubs & all that goes with it.) Avett has his first UKC show this weekend. If we won't see you there, wish us luck!

Sweet pitties deserve all the love!

Today for Pit Bull Awareness month we would like to talk about temperament. Pit bulls are extremely friendly and have sweet personalities. According to the American Temperament Test Society as of January 2023, 960 American Pit Bull Terriers were tested, of the 960 dogs, 87.6% passed the test!

This test, "Focuses on and measures different aspects of temperament such as stability, shyness, aggressiveness, and friendliness as well as the dog’s instinct for protectiveness towards its handler and/or self-preservation in the face of a threat."
