Gypsys grooming will be closed until Thursday. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers of peace after the passing of my father. He will be missed so very much. I am working on rescheduling Mon tue and Wednesday so I will be reaching out to those appointments soon.

Important announcement
Due to the current situation of the respiratory disease that is circulating have your dog(s) been to any dog parks, vets office, boarding, doggy daycare and/or dog sport events in the last two weeks?

Is your dog(s) showing any signs of illness? Coughing
Sneezing
Gagging
Reverse sneezing
shallow breathing
Nasal/eye discharge
Lethargy
Lack of appetite

If so we WILL have to reschedule. I understand this might be an inconvenience but the safety and welfare of your dogs (and others) is our utmost concern and priority. Gypsys grooming is a one on one appointment only salon and as usual, we are cleaning and disinfecting w kensol and 256 after every appointment (and have air purifiers running x2 now )and your dog(s) do not have any nose to nose contact with other dogs. However, so much is unknown about this respiratory illness, it's not confirmed yet if it is in fact bacterial or airborne, however, signs are pointing to that.
Any concerns that you have we suggest you contact your veterinarian to discuss any signs your dog might have asap.

Please please do not bring in a dog that is coughing as I groom so many dogs that are seniors and have compromised immune systems. It's all about protecting your dog as well as my own pack here. Please text me if I can help in any way.

Before and after of Indy... This was a shampoo, deep conditioning and pin brush and comb out groom. There is no trimming of the feet or face on her . She turned out beautifully.

Welcome back Jesse. I groomed this guy when he was 1-3 yrs old in my mobile. Then he moved away and then came back and I was so full in his area he lived I could not get him back on my schedule. They have waited patiently for my salon to be finished and now I have him back at gypsy's). At 10 years old he's looking mighty fine and silky conditioned today! (Last pic is from his younger days in the mobile van)

Warning... videos of this horrendous abuse are circulating, please be prepared to watch this or do not watch the videos all over the Internet etc. It is very hard to see this happen to an innocent dog! ....

I want to address the horrific and tragic event that occurred at a Tulsa "grooming" salon, Doggy Doodles. This should have never happened. It is a shame and the reputable groomers all around the country are shocked and angered by this. I have had so many of my clients reach out to me the last few days and thank me for being here and loving their dogs as my own. I'm grateful for these messages. There are so many of us groomers that love your dogs like they are our own pet, for many of us, we have groomed your dog from puppy to adult to elderly and have been right there crying when they leave us from old age to cancer etc. What happened at this salon, there is no excuse. There is no excuse for why the owners of that establishment didn't stop this or why other groomers there did not stop it. There is nothing I can say to ease the owners of poor atlas that was so mistreated and abused ultimately to his death. I pray for their peace... I personally cannot imagine the pain they are experiencing knowing they trusted this place, their routine groomer, and never got to see their dog play and run again. It breaks my heart for them, for Atlas. He did not deserve this. No dog deserves this.
I would like to thank all of my people for trusting me with their pups every month. It is not just my job. It is my passion and my honor to do what I do.
To atlas's people... I'm so very sorry this place failed you and our local grooming industry especially, is doing everything we can to make sure justice is served and they are shut down for good and the man responsible serves time... if he can be called a man, I personally think he's not only a coward and so many other words fb will not allow me to post. His punishment cannot be severe enough imo. Nor can the owners of that Doogy Doodles.

Thank you to all my people for the privilege and trust you give me with your pups. Y'all know I love them and hug and kiss them and spoil them as my own.

Ps... there are many videos out there. Please use caution watching them. There are some very graphic ones and I could not watch one without literally throwing up. I just cannot. My heart just hurts for the dog and family so much and then the anger towards the man and the entire staff that didn't do anything to stop this. There is a vip section in hell for those that commit these acts and a few spots just got filled.

Officials with Tulsa Animal Welfare say surveillance video from Doggie Doodle Grooming shows Diego Angel attacking the dog and not lowering the support bar enough, leading to the dog choking to death.
