Some pups love adventure!

These two finished the mexican 1000 ahead of us in 2013! The dog and rider are synched up and they haul ass. It was a bit embarrassing the 1st time I was passed by a guy and his dog in the race. After following them and watching their flow for a minute I recognized their talent greatly exceeded mine, I went back down to my pace, and enjoyed watching pooch and rider scoot away. In these times of quarantine I'm extra grateful for the path of adventure that I put myself on in life. This deal goes quick, there is no rewind button. Happy Friday!

With recent announcements asking that we stay home as much as possible, we're sure that your pets love getting to see you more often. That said, I'd like to tell you more about a new service that many clients have been happily taking advantage of recently. We now offer live phone and video consultations.

While dog training is for the most part a hands-on experience there are still many who can benefit from discussing specific issues they may be experiencing with their dogs. This service is especially beneficial for those with new puppies. Teach your pup the right way from the start by consulting us for best practices.

We know schedules during a typical work week can be hectic, but If you or loved ones are home with a pup, now is the best time to take advantage of this service and make the most of the down time.

Changes are coming to Good Dog and we wanted to share our news, we have tried our best to personally reach out to all of our current and most of our former students and their 2 legged family members to let them know but wanted to post here as well. As of June 30th 2019 we will be leaving the facility at 1352 W. Lake that has been our GOOD DOG home,, and refocusing our training to concentrate on IN-Home training, training walks, and Puppy consultations. As we will be leaving the brick and mortar behind this means we will no longer be offering Boarding and Day Care, (the building was sold and we decided that at this time we will not relocate) We are not going away (or RETIRING) BUT can still be reached at 1-800-GOOD DOG (312-733-7926) to assist you in any way we can. We are so appreciative of the support we have had from the best dog families in the Chicago area and look forward to continuing to help make all dogs GOOD DOGS...We Thank everyone in our GOOD DOG family for allowing us to be a part of their
