Garfield was was in a car engine when it started. He has multiple face fractures, a dislocated jaw and no eye sight right now. We are praying for a miracle.

Update on Garfield
Garfield had an appointment with a specialist and surgery consult on Monday. The great news is that she is very optimistic because of his age and how quickly he has already healed and overcome things.
There may be a hole in the top of his palate that is causing some issues that could potentially be severe and life threatening. They want to book in 3 weeks to have a procedure where they knock him out and will be able to look at things more closely. That procedure costs about $800. If he is going to need extensive sinus and jaw surgery, that will be about $3000. We are praying for miraculous healing in this next 3 weeks! Update from Amy:
"Garfield's jaw is back in place, BUT the right side is completely shattered and has a lot of fractures. His nose is also shattered. Both his nose and jaw have more fractures then they can count. His sinuses are not functioning properly because of all of the fractures in his nose and the bone was pressed into them. He has a few bones through the pallet of his mouth and his bite is off, which I'm assuming that is why we are struggling to get him to eat. All of that said, everyone loves him and he is still the sweetest cat anyone has ever met. In order to fix his nose and jaw it will take surgery that will cost thousands of dollars"

Thank you so much to all who have donated to sweet Garfield's care! Amy and her family feel very blessed to have received your support.
Garfield had a CT scan on Thursday. Results of the CT scan should be know early next week (when his vet reviews them).
Garfield also has an appointment Monday with an eye specialist.
Garfield is having trouble eating and drinking but is able to take in some nourishment.
Please continue praying for this sweet cat as he moves along his journey back to health.

Garfield's nose is broken in several locations, his sinuses are damaged, eye sight in his right eye is either a partial or complete loss, his left eye is healing, and his jaw needs a surgery.
The next step is for Garfield to have an emergency CT scan tomorrow.
As you can imagine the vet bills are adding up, the CT alone costs almost $3000.
