I enjoy rehab sessions so much.
Undeniably, the progression is rewarding, but I really love to be able to make a difference in how the dog is feeling. I love being able to ease their pain and make them feel more comfortable. I make it my mission to work out any tension through massage, and then seeing increased ROM over the sessions is just what makes me tick 💜

It’s been quite the year!
Thank you to everyone who has supported Canis Aquatic this year either by booking a session or simply spreading the word, it means so much 💜.
I have loved every single session, many treats have been munched, I have more squeaky octopi 🐙on the way ( they seem to be a firm favourite) and the inside of my waders has remained dry on only two occasions!
Exciting things are in the pipeline for 2024 and I can’t wait to meet all of my new clients!

Tonight was a blast! We welcomed a new face in the form of Bernese Mountain Dog Fizz, who is owned by the very lovely Beth Takoda Dog Grooming- Marlborough, Wiltshire. Fizz has had a very unfortunate 10 months with a few health issues, most recently recovering from surgery for Pyometra. Due to being on strict rest while healing from major surgery Fizz had gained a few extra kilos so we are now working to burn off all the pent up energy and decrease the kgs. Molly had her first hydro session today. What a complete superstar!
Molly has been on lead walks for a few weeks due to straining her right hindlimb. Swimming is providing exercise in a non weight bearing environment while also strengthening and supporting muscle development.

Have you heard it’s National Dog Day?
National Dog Day was established on the 26th August 2004 with the purpose of spreading awareness about the number of dogs in rescue centres.
We rescued Olly from @dogstrust_salisbury when he was 11 months old - and he’ll be turning 10 at the end of November!
Olly is a pretty complex dog, but he has taught me so much, and played a large part in me training to be a hydrotherapist - that’s a story time for another day!
