Update: Johnson sadly did not survive the internal bleeding caused by what we think was a car hit. If you would like to donate to the vet bill please do! Cash, venmo () or PayPal ([email protected]). Even though he was with us for only 18 hours, he was showered with love and compassion (something he most likely had not had much of).

Johnson was found April 19 by a good Samaritan at the corner of 64 and 94 in Columbia. He is currently on the way to the emergency vet. He may have been hit by a car. We are hoping for good news!!

This sweet girl is still looking for her own home! She was rescued from a neglect situation by a nice lady. All vetting is up to date. She is young, smart and affectionate. Her best friend is a kitty!

Patty Rae was recently dumped out near my house and we didn't hesitate to take her in! She's 2 years old, sweet as pie, loves other dogs and is super playful!

Patty Rae will hopefully find a rescue soon. Until then, she is happy as a foster and has been started on heartworm treatment!

Luie is in foster after his mom turned up as a pregnant stray. Luie was the only surviving kitten in the litter. He loves snuggles and is getting used to his new human environment.

One of our favorite days of the year happens to be tomorrow! Meet “wink” she was found in the middle of the hwy. a very nasty scene, I thought it was a squirrel! Other drivers were just going around her. Her eye was severely damaged, she was rushed to Tidewater animal hospital in Roper, NC.

Dr. Chandler performed emergency surgery to remove her eye. She’s recovering very well! She was found just last week.

We’re just local folks trying to assist in the ever growing problem of medical emergencies for dogs & cats dumped. County funding doesn’t allot this type of funding. These medical emergencies have been coming out of my personal paycheck. The cost rises with each emergency. From prolapse uterus, to finding kittens with an eyeball that’s hanging out.
