This again. No access to back row crates in the event of an emergency, for feeding and watering, unsecured, no proper labeling, unsafe wire crates. You don't have the right to call it rescue when the wellbeing of animals is still questionable during the transport. This type of transport is praised because of its inexpensive or volunteer and because it is moving a quantity "out of harm". Quit supporting this, there are standards and regualtions. This "transporter" should be ashamed!

This is what is on my mind tonight, Sassy. Where is she? Alive? Dead. Sold? Thrown by the side of the road?
I have recused myself of all the drama threads and posts. I wanted to gather information and hope it was truthful. I wanted to hope that it would lead to Sassy. The only truth is that the story changes as frequently as the weather, wasting time and resources. We hired a transport, Roll'n Bones Transport. It was our first trip with them It will be our last. Sassy is somewhere but not where they said. We finally have access to security cameras from the rest stop in Glens Falls N.Y where they say a driver tripped and lost hold of her. There is no footage showing that. T here is footage of two drivers, neither old or lame, and two dogs, neither Sassy and that is all. I have tried to communicate with Celise, the owner that she can tell me everything as long as it is the truth. The stories keep changing. There are no sightings of Sassy. The trapper has seen nothing. The drone has seen nothing.
However the night that Sassy went missing, Celise wanted the 50 )?) down payment. I sent it. Now, nearly a week out with zero.....zero help from them, they want the rest. Did I mention that a dog that was fostered by Celise came off transport with a broken leg?There was a whole story about that as well. Bottom line, I was able to get his records and x rays from TX. He had been walking on a broken leg fore 6 weeks. He has now been seen by his Canadian vet where he will hopefully avoid amputation. They are making a custom orthotic that he will wear for life. He is on pain meds and anti inflammatory drugs. We will be paying the vet bills because no adopter can be expected to take that on. Response from
Celise? No big deal, old injury.
We entered into this wanting a long-term relationship that would save more dogs and be mutually beneficial. It has been a nightmare. Will we ever find Sassy? She is micro-chipped. I will personally put up $500 in reward for any information that leads to her recovery alive or dead. We will be filing police reports for theft in San Antonio, Texas and in Glens Falls NY.

You dont have the right to call it rescue when this is what your transport van looks like! How do you clean kennels, feed, water, walk? This is how a $250/crate transport works. And this is a pretty large rescue org. Crates not secured, not even labeled per regulations, as Im sure these transporters are not even USDA registered. Sad, disappointing, and sub standard!
