Massive thank you to the lovely ladies at Felsted for letting me bring two of my gorgeous boys over for some training in a new place 🙏And to the very talented Emily Stöckle for taking these photos for me 🙌🏻Sanson, Yanqui and I got absolutely drenched but had a fab time, feel so lucky to have such beautiful boys to work with 🥰#classicspanishhorses
Sanson
I started the changes with Sanson recently and I’m so pleased with how they’re coming along, as you can hear by my very exuberant ‘GOOD BOYYYY’ in this video 🤣❤️
God I love this horse, he’s been quirky and tricky over the last 3 years but to me riding him feels like putting your old comfy slippers on at the end of a long day. I’ve just never felt so at home on a horse like I do when I’m on him! My best boy ❤️
Beechwood Working Equitation Demo 🙌🏻
Still absolutely buzzing from such a fabulous evening last night!
I did a Working Equitation Demo at Beechwood Equestrian Centre, when I originally booked this a couple of months ago I genuinely thought there would be around 20 people attending so to have a crowd of 135 people there to watch and learn all about Working Equitation was extremely nerve- wracking but so amazing!
Massive thank you to Hollie Hoxby Stevens for joining me with the lovely Benji to help with the demo, you rode so well and we had such a laugh, especially with Benji playing up to the crowd 🤣❤️
Also huge thanks to Tom Cook Kitty O’Brien and Fran for all your help with lots of moving the obstacles and getting the horses ready! Teamwork makes the dream work ❤️
My gorgeous boy Guapero did me proud as he behaved impeccably in his section of the demo and got lots of nice compliments and strokes from the crowd 😁
Lastly thank you to everyone who came along, I loved how many questions were asked throughout, it made it such an interactive session and I really hope people enjoyed it and were inspired to come along to some clinics in the near future!
For all of the people that added me following last night, the page I mentioned where I will be posting all of my clinic dates and entry links is below so if you would like to give that a follow I will start posting some clinic dates on there shortly.
My first clinic for the 9th December at Beechwood is now full however there will be lots more dates coming on that page shortly 👍🏻

Cattle Camp day 2 - morning session
Guapero just never ceases to amaze me 🤩
This horse will do anything you ask of him once he trusts you, never seen cows in his life before yesterday and had a cow very reluctant to be penned this morning but he just kept on listening and answering every question.
Dressage, Working Equitation, Hacking and Herding Cattle this boy can do it all ❤️
Please get in touch if you are looking for a super special PRE as he is looking for a new 5* home 🏡

Sanson and I went to our new favourite day out yesterday, another Working Equitation Regional Competition at Westley Park 🤩
After turning up very late we had no time to warm up for the dressage phase and had to go straight in to our test (without even being plaited up which I was mortified about 🤣🙈) so I was very surprised but very pleased to see we had gone into the lead after the dressage 💪🏻
So I went into the Ease of Handling, having practiced the obstacles several times at home last week, with high hopes for us. But as we all know, horses like to be great levellers and Sanson brought me back down to earth with a bang by showing me that if I don’t get it bang on then he won’t be playing ball 🤣
I came to obstacle number 2, the bull, and slipped out to the left through my seat on the approach and so we totally missed it and I ended up getting us eliminated in that round 🤬
After getting over my frustration of how the Ease of Handling round went, I decided to go into the Speed round (video) and have a bit of fun, which we certainly did 😄 for anyone who doesn’t know about Working Equitation, the aim of the speed is to just get around all of the obstacles as quickly as possible and style is not judged at all in this phase. When that music cranks up you can’t help but want to open up and let them go a little 🤣 and even though I missed the Vara again in the speed, we had a fab time and came home with a smile on our faces 😄
For anyone who is yet to try Working Equitation and wants to find out more give The Association for British Working Equitation a follow 👍🏻

Facebook wouldn’t let post two videos on the same post, so here is Sanson doing his first ever Ease of Handling course at the Working Equitation Regional comp this weekend ❤️
He’s still so young so struggles with a lot of the obstacles but he does try his heart out!

So this weekend was my first Working Equitation Squad training and also our first ever competition and wow what a weekend my Spanish boys and I had 🤩
All three of us have got a lot to learn over the next few months but having said that I couldn’t be more proud of how both my boys handled themselves at the comp on Sunday, they really both are such genuine horses that try their hardest to do what I’m asking of them even if they don’t really quite understand it all yet 😅
I absolutely cannot wait for the year ahead on the Squad, very exciting times ahead 🐎

The new four Classic Spanish Horses have proved their weight in gold this week as we have been having some groundwork’s done at the yard and all four horses have been being schooled with a HUGE digger working directly next to the arena 😱 I’m so pleased with all of them as I have not had any spooks from any of them at all, they’re all such brave, bold and trusting young horses 🤩
The video is of 5 year old Yanqui taking it all in his stride ❤️

My darling Sanson had a horrible accident on the walker a few weeks ago, he got his head trapped in a gap about 20cm wide and gave us all a big fright, thankfully he managed to walk away with just some cuts on his head, a lot of swelling and a very bad headache for a few days.
He therefore had a couple of weeks off work to make sure he recovered fully and he of course had a full check over with Ceola Reece Veterinary Physiotherapy to ensure there was no major damage to any muscles and ligaments in his poll and neck, thankfully he got the all clear 🙏
So this weekend we got back to business and went and did some dressage @brookfarmequestrian and Sanson showed me that the accident has had no lasting effects on him. He strutted his stuff in the BD Novice 38 qualifier today for a fab score of 69+% and gained us 5 more points towards our Winter regionals qualification. So we now only have 4 more points left to pick up before the end of December 😁
I was flying solo at the show today so didn’t manage to get a video of his lovely test but instead have a nice video of Sanson and my boyfriend doing his tricks ❤️
I couldn’t love this horse any more if I tried 🥰

When you’ve been working on sitting up straight for the past year and it finally all starts falling into place 😂🤩 10 days until BD Regionals with my best boy Sanson #classicspanishhorses
This horse will forever have my heart 💙💙💙 #Sanson #classicspanishhorses #pre #spanishhorse #horsesofinstagram
Major glow up for Sanson in the last 18 months 🤩💙 #classicspanishhorses #fedontopspec #crvetphysio
Days like today make all the early mornings and 12 hour days, 7 days a week working with horses all worth it.
My 5 year old PRE Sanson went out to his first BD show of the year this morning and absolutely smashed it out of the park 😁
I went with the aim of just getting him back to a show after a 5 month winter break and although we’ve got our sights set on qualifying for the Prelim Summer regionals before the end of June I wasn’t expecting him to gain any qualifying points today as it was his first show since being back in work.
So we started off with the Prelim 17a qualifier, he did a lovely obedient accurate test to score 68.1% and 3rd place which I was absolutely chuffed with as it meant we had picked up 4 qualifying points which I hadn’t expected to do at all.
Then we did the Prelim 19 qualifier and the whole way round the test I was riding thinking, wow he feels incredible, he was bending round my leg, so consistent and soft in my hand and I just thoroughly enjoyed the whole test on him, he didn’t have a single moment where he faltered. And that completely reflected in his marks as he got his highest ever score to date with a 70.83% for 1st place and gained a further 6 qualifying points😱😱😱😱 I actually couldn’t believe it when I picked up my score sheet as to be honest I never even dreamed I would break the golden 70% barrier on a 5 year old Spanish horse that I’ve produced myself! I’ve been walking on cloud 9 all morning 🤣
I would just like to give a quick mention to Anand Patel Dressage as he has really been kicking my bum into gear these last few weeks and my god it is paying off 🥇
I was flying solo this morning so I haven’t got a video of Sansons test unfortunately but swipe for a video of him being treated to a well done banana from our lovely @courtneyroselowenx when he arrived back home 🤣🥰
