It’s been awhile. Our posting has slowed since we were going more than coming. Aoife has been there through it all.

As Aoife earned here 5000+ miles badge in October, things are slowing. We are now home for quite awhile. With the help of friends, I changed the layout of the house. I’m waiting for a new chair, so we still have the sofa. It’s next to the window, so Aoife gravitates to it, especially on sunny days.

We are both taking the night off.

It has been a long four months. Aoife has been a trooper. She has traveled more than 3500 miles in the car. Last week, she was in three houses. Her litter box has been in multiple places … upstairs, downstairs, closets, etc., and she never missed it once.

Through it all, she has been a constant companion through it all. I am so thankful for her.

A long night with heavy storms coming through. They are her favorite. I think someone is going to sleep the day away.

Snow!!!

A happy Aoife ....

A slow Sunday afternoon ... perfect time for a bath.

A long week, so I dug out some catnip and made her a small pillow.

Aoife is still trying to figure out how to drink out of a clear glass. She is persistent. 🙂.

Getting her new sofa runner situated.

Trying to remove the triangles. 😹😹😹

She doesn’t understand the concept of trash and that it goes IN the bag.

Step 2 - trying to figure how how to make myself fit.

Step 1 ... dig to determine the size. Can I make it bigger. And yes ... it is attached to the sewing machine as I work on a seam.

I explained on my textile page that I worked on this quilt top over the week. My last two cats were white and a light buff. She ... well, not so light. Since I have been working on another project, I haven’t taken the time to do a ‘dark’ quilt for the sofa. Found this new coffee print and decided this would be perfect. Aoife approves! Looking forward to having it quilted this fall. And then spending my cold mornings with coffee, music ... with this quilt and a cat in my lap. Kind sounds like heaven on earth.
