Jurien Bay Dog Walking Service My name is Gosia and I'm provide services for dogs in Jurien Bay , Greenhead and Leeman area. I work with dogs of all sizes and across all the different breeds.

I'm behavioural trainer, having many years of experience with rescue and shelter dogs. I gained my knowledge and experience during the work with the biggest rescue organization in WA . I was also mentored by trainer whose area of expertise was dog reactivity, aggression and rehabilitation. I can use my skills and qualifications to help you and your dog with any struggles you may have. I can ada

pt my service to your dog needs.

Met new doggy kiddo in the town,Rip.
His owner and Rip learned the foundation to help them communicate better in further training and today we had little social catch up with big boy Maverick.
It wasn't much playing but the boys were happy to hand out with Mavi leading this duo and showing Rip the ropes.
Mavi showed his assertiveness around stick (high value for him) and Rip understand the limit.

The boy is super excited when you coming to visit.He will greet you with happy staffy bouncy /jumpy/mouthy style which is not really that pleasant for us.
Today we did a few focus exercises and set calm routines to help this boy to start to relax and settle .

Freya and Harry on the date.
After Freya got few negative experiences with dogs rushing up to her while walked on leash she become a bit unsure and selective around other dogs.
Today Freya social needs were fulfilled and with Harry's help she started building her confidence and positive associations.

I do work with DRH and I have to admit that from years we didn't have such a critical amount of dogs waiting for a new home like now.
There are so many easy going dogs who waiting months for this lucky moment to leave a shelter gate behind. Life in shelter is very stressful and impacts the dog behaviour. Despite hard work of our dedicated volunteers,these poor dogs still living in such a unnatural environment under chronic stress with mental and physical needs not met, with limited sleep,human contact and socialisation.
Please if you consider to add a dog to your family,visit rescue organisations close to you.
The rescue operate based in kennel environment and foster homes.

It was Freya quality time this week.
We had couple of our regular outings and she was lucky to made a new friends with two boys.
Her social needs were fulfilled as both plays were even and enjoyable for all dogs.
The social interactions are so important for the well-being of our fur friends.
Good play will buzz the serotonin level in the brain,will drop extra access of energy ,make dogs more relaxed and content.

What a cleaver boy.He is new rescue in town and I'm helping his awesome owners to adjust Puddy to live around.
Coming from kennel base rescue and unknowingly background Puddy facing w few challenges but in time,his parents commitments and suitable environment he should a bit overcome his fears.

Meet Marley and Freya.
Marley sweet cleaver rescue boy who has some fear component and can be unsure of other dogs.
He had a few bad experiences before which impacted his confidence and increased stress level around unknown dogs.
We had nice long sniffy walk with always keen to socialise Freya,to help Marley building up positive associations.
We had a few sniffs exchanged and shoulders bumps between them.
When Marley got comfortable with Freya eagerness his domena changed and he initialled more interactions which was great to see.

Walk with Violet today.What a happy little girl.

Little Jacko reacts to pet ducks living behind the fence.He usually charged to the fence barking as soon as he was let to yard. Today we started slowly ,rewarding him for looking on ducks and staying calm. Building positive association as something nice is happening when around ducks. Owner is on top of everything, made extra barrier so Jacko can't see the ducks and practising bad behaviou,during the day when owner at work.
