Learn all aspects of racing from dog care, nutrition, equipment care, and even learn how to drive a team. Experiences are personalized to the desires of the participants and the time of year.

This handsome fella is looking for home! He’s a great sled dog but he truly just wants to be a house dog. Up to date on vaccines and deworming. Somewhat potty trained. Kennels nicely. Is good with other dogs but would much rather have all your attention. 3 years old.

Welcome to Firestar Kennel. Established in 1997 first a recreational team which transitioned into a mid-distance racing team. We have a tremendous core group of dogs and offer local sled dog tours, and rustic cabin rental at the kennel. The dogs are our life. Experience the thrill of dogsled racing by visiting a true racing kennel. Learn all aspects of racing from dog care, nutrition, equipment care, and even learn how to drive a team. Experiences are personalized to the desires of the participants and the time of year. Set up a day tour, night tour, or rent the rustic cabin for a full kennel and mushing experience of a lifetime.
