Perfect day for our favorite road trip to the mountains for some fresh ground flour from ! We even got to stop at the best dog park we have ever been to in Charlottesville. It is a fenced in dog park on the lake! So much fun!

Finally here! Did you know in the state of Virginia, you must be licensed by the Virginia Department of Agriculture to sell packaged dog treats? Did you know each flavor and size must be registered? This is to insure your dogs are getting quality dog treats! Make sure to ask your local packaged dog treats provider if they are registered with VDACS

Moondog Bakery was honored to donate treats to the Henrico Animal Shelter. The event, Operation Furry Feast provided a delicious meal of Fresh Turkey, Pumpkin, Green Beans, and a home made dog treat to all of the dogs in the shelter. The kitties also got a home made meal as well.. Moondog Bakery has donated many treats over the years but this was the first time I was able to see the pups enjoy all the local goodness. It brought me so much joy to see the dogs appreciate their wonderful meal and treats. I wish I could take them all home with me. Thank you for the invite and look forward to donating again.
