: NAKATANGGAP ng multiple awards ang doggo na ito mula sa Codcod Elementary School Extension - Nagalao sa San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

Kuwento ni uploader sa BANDERA, inawardan si Janjan ng "Security Guard Award" dahil nakabantay ito sa eskwelahan habang may klase, at sinasabayan din niyang umuwi ang mga teachers dito tuwing Biyernes at naglalakad nang nasa 3 oras kasama ang mga g**o dahil nasa bundok ang naturang paaralan. Kapag nakasakay na sa sasakyan ang mga g**o ay lalakad naman ito pabalik ulit sa eskwelahan.

Bukod sa "Security Guard Award" ay naka-tanggap din si Janjan ng "Loyalty Award."

'PAI LIN HAD A LONG, HARD LIFE'

Isang elepante ang nagkaroon ng "caved-in spine" matapos itong gawing sakayan ng mga turista sa loob ng 25 taon, ayon sa isang ulat ng The Straits Times.

Ayon kay Amy Jones, spokesman ng Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, nagkaroon ng caved-in spine ang 71-year-old female elephant na si Pai Lin matapos itong gawing sakayan ng mga turista sa loob ng 25 taon.

“Pai Lin had a long, hard life," saad ni Jones sa isang ulat ng Newsweek. “She was used for elephant trekking, as a street begging prop, and in the logging industry for many years. She was forced to carry a heavy howdah – a type of seat – with up to six tourists in it. Because of this, her spine is visibly deformed, and she has many scars caused by pressure sores.”

This is the 4th batch of dogs euthanized since our CAP Team stopped our Rescue Operations. And the Nth batch since they have started euthanizing dogs years ago.

❗TO EVERYONE
Before getting a pet, make sure you can commit to them their whole life. If you cannot, DO NOT GET ONE! Do not even think of giving people pets as 'gifts' unless you are sure they can afford all their needs!

❗TO OWNERS
You could have saved your dog with a simple leash or by keeping them inside your homes or lots. The pound only captures unleashed dogs on public streets. Please be responsible!

❗TO GOVERNMENT POUNDS
Please do not just stick to impounding and euthanasia. Where is the if the irresponsible owners are not even punished? Nothing is being solved here. At least put a hold on your operations until you find a better solution. Please keep in mind that we, TAX PAYERS, pay for this operation. We deserve to be heard!

Yes it is the LAW. But at the end of our lives, Laws do not mean anything to the Higher Being. It is our heart that matters and how we value others.

COMPASSION STARTS AT HOME

Meet the viral kid who cried over his pet’s vaccination.

The young boy in the video is 2 1/2 yr old - Baby Seth Jake Caldamo. He was accompanied by his Lolo Ruben in the vaccination site where the AKF Team was administering free anti-rabies vaccines yesterday. The activity was in line with Rabies Awareness Month.

We commend Baby Seth’s family. His Lolo Ruben, and his parents - Tatay Ariel and Nanay Myla. They raised this kid well! The little boy had pure and genuine love for his pet cat. We think he knew that vaccinations hurt a bit and he did not want his cat to experience that.

Imagine if all parents teach their kids to love their pets at this degree. Animal cruelty and irresponsible pet ownership will no longer exist. There will be a better world for the animals, there will be a better tomorrow for them.

The cats name? It’s Princess. 😻

We’ll visit Baby Seth, Princess and the family tomorrow, and we’ll be bringing gifts for them. They so deserve a reward. ❤️

Heavenly Father, our human ties with our friends of other species is wonderful and special gift from You. We now ask You to grant our special animal companions your Fatherly care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. Give us, their human friends, new understanding of our responsibilities to these creatures of Yours. They have trust in us as we have in You; our souls and theirs are on this earth together to give one another friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and fill Your ill or suffering animals with healing Light and strength to overcome whatever weakness of body they have

Your goodness is turned upon every living thing and Your grace flows to all Your creatures. From our souls to theirs goodness flows, touching each of us with the reflection of Your love. Grant to our special animal companions long and healthy lives. Give them good relationships with us, and if You see fit to take them from us, help us to understand that they are not gone from us, but only drawing closer to You.
