Malinka's final run at EO was definitely one of the best performance we did this year. It is hard to believe that Malinka didn't celebrate her 3rd birthday yet! However I wouldn't like that somebody thinks that we reached that perfection while running hours and hours at the agility ring... I believe that the success is a reward for the focus on the perfection while playing small games and short exercises. First of all I trust that these games put less pressure on the dog's body. We also build a perfect understanding for every skill, both for the dog and the handler.
If you are interested in what I trained with Malinka during her first year then you are welcome to join the Malinka's Diary class. I keep playing some of the games for the whole dog's life. This is a huge part of my agility training.
Send me PM if you are interested please.

The seesaw fun class is going to open soon!

If you are interested in my new way of teaching the dog a seesaw then this class is the right one for you!

Are you bored to stop the dog on the seesaw? Don’t you like to sacrifice some runs to remember your dog the seesaw rules? Are you not confident that you have to use a realease cue on the seesaw? Don’t you like the fact that the dog performs the seesaw in a different way in training than at a competition? If one of your answers is „yes“ then you might like my „seesaw new way training strategy“.
I like to compete. I am a competitive person. I am not competing against other teams, I am competing with time. I want to reach the perfection, my goal is a fast and fluent run. I love the feeling of being very well connected with my dog and to „fly“ through the course… I am not a person who likes to sacrifice a run to explain the dog that I really want them to wait on the seesaw. Maybe it is a weak side of mine but everything bad has a positive effect as well. My bad that I am not able to be consistent at a competition, I don’t want to lose any run to redo the seesaw and I don’t want to lose any time on the seesaw either. I am sure I can’t change myself that is why I was thinking a lot about how to train the seesaw in a better way. My wish was 1)not to have any release cue because it puts too much pressure on me, I just want to inform my dog that „it is a seesaw“ and let all the job on them 2)that the dog performs the seesaw in the same way in a training like at a competition 3)that it is easy for the dog to perform the seesaw even if I am ahead/behind/on the side, doing a BC, a FC or a RC.

Entries will be open from 9th of March. The class will start 16th of March.
The duration of the class: 6 months.

Price: participants pay 60 Euro (participants can post up to 15 videos every month)
auditors pay 40 Euro (auditors can ask questions)

If you are interested in the class please write me a PM.

I have already written many times that I love playing and working with a puppy and it hasn’t changed. I am always excited to start a new journey. I am fascinated with the differences between puppies and I love to observe them and search for the best possible way of supporting their intellect and body. In my opinion, the first year is the most important because the puppy is growing and we can support their development in many different ways which makes them even smarter and even more skillful. We can build the habits we like and which the dog will keep for the whole life. The first extremely important goal is to build a very strong relationship between me and the puppy. It can be easier or it might be more difficult but for sure it is possible to create a strong bond with every dog. Of course, this part was easy with Malinka, she is a mudi, a breed born to love their owner. The next goal is to support Mali’s development in as many ways as possible. I focus on the verbal cues understanding a lot because I noticed that mudis are a bit less comfortable with verbal cues than border collies (please take it as general information, it does not mean that a mudi can’t be very good at verbal cues understanding or that all the BC are ingenious in this way…). I know that mudi can react well to the handlers's movement and lose the focus on the obstacles while passing the handler. That is why I found out games to build solid habits „pass me and run ahead“. I want to focus more and more on the distance work from the very beginning because nowadays agility asks for that. Of course, I don’t want to overdo it and lose the „work close to me“ skill. I think that it is very important to work on a lot of different exercises where the puppy uses all the parts of their body (not in one exercise of course). I mean that they work with their front legs, hind legs, two side legs, nose, they spin on a small spot and so on. In my opinion, it is extremely important to find an ideal balance for every single puppy. On the one side I want my puppy to be crazy and energetic but on the other side I want them to learn how to control themselves as well. I don’t think that either extreme is good, a crazy puppy who is absolutely not able to respond to our requests or a puppy who listens to us perfectly but loses their fire. I would like to share Malinka’s journey with you. I am going to share videos of our trainings every week for the whole year! You can find everything I worked on, I am working on or I will work on later. I have found out some new games which I did not play with Nemi (oh yes, who knows me is sure that I always have to work out new, even more efficient games ). My plan for the first year is to prepare all the skills which are necessary later when we start training the „real agility“. My goal of the Malinka’s Diary is not just to share with you what I do with Malinka and to explain why I do it but you can read in the class what I did differently with Nemi and why (Malinka is a mudi so for sure she is different from Nemi, that is why they behave in a bit different way which requires different training approach. I mean some small differences not that Malinka’s program would be absolutely different from what I did with Nemi).
What you can find in the class:

-puppy tricks
-distance work
-passing the handler and running ahead
-a solid start line self control
-„fighter attitude“,
-Special games
-stride regulators training
-fitness exercises
-ability to wait while the other dog is training
-training together with other dogs
-running contacts training (of course I mean the plank games, I don’t train the DW till the dog is at least one year old)
-and more!

Entries open from 1st of February 2022. The class starts on the Valentine’s day, on the 14th of February.

13 years ago a very special puppy was born. I felt from the very beginning that she is the "on of the million" dog but I think that even in my dreams I can't imagine how special for me she is going to be. A small dog with the biggest heart ever who decided that I am the ONE for her in few seconds and she never changed her mind. A small dog who is very quiet home, easy in common life but always ready to have fun with me in whatever way. Her energy is endless. She is never tired, even now being 13-year old dog she can still walk more than 5 hours in the mountains without being tired, she still loves swimming and she still can follow me while I am skiing... She is the dog who always knows or feels what is the best at the moment... Of course I was dreaming about getting a medal from AWC with her and I have to say that I was extremely happy after Liberec 2012 when we won the teams. And I have to say that it was more than enough for me, I did not expect anything more, she already gave me all I wanted. I had so much fun to run with her that I did not need to get more titles. I was and I still am super thankful to have such a great friend who makes me smile even if my mood is not great. I did not expect what will come after and I still think that it was a miracle. From 2012 Kiki won a medal at every AWC we took part (we missed 2013 due to my pregnancy). Kiki is incredible fighter, always giving all she can at the correct moment. Yes, I am convinced that she feels what to do. When I do not feel good, she comes and lie down on my lap, or she makes something crazy to make me smile... When I am happy she is happy with me... every morning when I wake up she wakes up at the same moment .... we do not train agility anymore but we do not miss it at all. I am very thankful for more than 10 years we trained and competed together. But I am even more thankful that Kiki is still in a perfect shape and we can still have so much fun together. Agility was just a small part of our every day life, we have fun while training tricks, fitness exercises, playing the Special games and enjoying long walks and trips. Happy birthday my princess Kiki! I wish you to be healthy and happy and I wish we can stil be together for many more years! You are incredible! ❤️❤️❤️

Sorry for not adding more free courses but my IPad went under repair for a while. If you are interested in a jumping sequence with a couple of different handling options this is what I ran last week with my mali Fidji.
A little bit surprised by the fact that the second option was faster, because I didn’t feel that could be the case.
Enjoy. Carlo

We can't meet with my very good friend Jana Zvonkova and her amazing Rulicka now :-( But we are thankful that we can work on-line together! Jana is one of my best students, if I can use the term "student". Jana took part of my summer camp 18 years ago and since that we work together. Jana became professional dog trainer and she has her own club now but we still cooperate together. A lot of good ideas I got while talking with her about "new possible way of dog's training" or while we discussed some "problem". Jana is a very talented trainer. I think that after watching this video you agree with me! Perfect job!!!!! I am so proud of you! 👍🤩❤️

Last Sunday we had a great training with my friends. It was a premier for me and Fidji 🤣 Carlo did not feel well (he is 100% fine now, just small digestion problems) so I took a chance and tried to run with the crazy mali "pocket rocket". It was sooo different from running with Nemi! I did not feel any difference in their speed but handling Fidji was a bit harder than handling Nemi. I mean I had to shift much more weight to give the clear signals to Fidji while I just "think" and Nemi reacts. I can't say it was not fun to run Fidji!!! Opposite, it was a great experience! Just very different from what I am used to. But yes, walking to the start line with a dog who is not "dancing" around me feels more relaxing... but I think I got used to my dancing Nemi and I would miss it if she "just walk" by my side. Nemi is by my side! Just a bit excited 🤩

What is safer? What is more risky? Why?

Hi everybody!

We are Martina Magnoli Klimesova and Carlo Magnoli, a couple of professional dog trainers with a long time love for dogs and a great agility experience.

Since a young age we felt in love with nature and dogs and later became involved in different dog sports before finally focusing mostly on Agility.

Nowadays dogs and dog training are our main occupation.
