That an odd looking wheaten 🤪, thought I’d introduce our side quest on here since she will be part of the show team along with the terriers.

This is Matilda she a Standard Wirehaired Dachsund.

Her appearance in our life was very quick but the cards fell the way they were suppose to.

Right now she a fun dog, I want to try multiple different instincts test with her such as Earthdog, Barn Hunt and Tracking.

We may or may not be adding them as a second breed but only time will tell. 💕

Seriously looking for a show home for whatever keeper from Ruby upcoming spring 2025 litter! (If everything goes well) 4 is my limit and I don’t want to add #5 but I also don’t want to let go of the chance of any keeping a female from this litter to raise up and see how they develop. I would love the chance to bring someone new into the breed and show them the ropes or an experience home is also welcomed. I’m not sharing the sire publicly till later but I do have him decided and I don’t mind sharing him to interested parties! Would like someone close by but I know that not always possible I’d be willing to show and do upkeep or like I said teach someone to do it!! ☺️

Realized I never posted this one! This is our beautiful boy Can CH Adako’s Squegee Luigi! Second picture is of his win this past weekend where he snagged himself another group second making him a multiple group placing dog and current #5 wheaten terrier in Canada. If the calculation is correct he missing 2 single points to becoming a GCH then he will turn his attention to being a sport dog ☺️

She the little puppy who can fly!! She already exceeding expectations. I’m beyond thrilled to have bred her to be able to showcase her to the fancy and the world 🌎

Reminder if you’re interested her mother will be bred again in the spring (with a different stud) and we are expecting puppies just as fantastic our puppy inquiry form is pinned to our page and we will be taking interest for show/sport prospect in this upcoming litter

Few updates!

-We attended a dog show just over a week ago and both Luigi and Scully showed amazingly! Luigi picked up 4 more points towards his Grand Championship with 4 group seconds leaving him with 7 pts to the title.

- Scully showed her little heart out and I can tell she going to be a hoot 🦉 the older she gets!

- Our last two puppies from our March 2024 litter have found their forever homes! 🏠 so happy that everyone got their own couch

- Ruby is showing signs of coming back into heat, we will skip this cycle but will breed her on her next one. If she follows her regular she will be bred Dec-Jan for a March 2025 litter I’m always taking interest so don’t be afraid to send us a message

And lastly our next dog show will be next week! We will be in Bracebridge/thorton Ontario if you are local and want to meet the dogs 🐕 come out

I still have a male and female puppy available from my litter. They were born March 6th, both are housetrained and sleep through the night in their crates. Super fun and affectionate little pups. Peanut Butter the boy was the smallest of our litter but that has not effected him one bit, he super go with the flow kind to guy and very very low energy. Gemma is your typical wheaten, silly full of life and would love a home where she can be active

Gemma has both set of shots while Peanut would need to be updated.

The litter was raised using Puppy Culture protocol and ENS.

Dam is a Can GCH and Sire is a Am and Can GCH, fully health tested to the breed club requirement and DNA tested.

They are both being sold on a non breeding contract. I’m located in Ontario Canada, if anyone from the US is interested one of his siblings went to Michigan with no issues.

The little girl that will hopefully carry on the torch 🔥 for us! We are off to a sanction match tomorrow (basically a show for people wanting to be judges to get experience judging no points or anything basically practice for us handlers ☺️). Next week we head to the Sault for Scully baby puppy debut (more practice) and Luigi will be coming along for hopefully more points towards his grand

My main goal with crossing Ruby to Victor other then an outcross and a chance to incoprate some amazing lines into my program early on was really a nicer front and head which Ruby was lacking.

We accomplished our goal with this one, of course I wish her rear was nicer but that the joy of breeding it’s a puzzle 🧩 and you slowly add the pieces one step at a time.

This girl personality is to die for! She so happy go lucky always down for an adventure. We brought her on an over 24hr round trip to a massive venue with well over 1000 dogs and she did not bat an eye. To say I’m thrilled about our first bred by is an understatement of the century. So excited for our journey tougher 💕🥹

Welp the gang turned 4 months old today! It’s crazy how fast time has flown by! Everyone has been in their new homes now for close to a month 🥰. I’m so pleased to see how confident, happy and well adjusted these guys are! For our first litter I could not ask for better 🥹. Here some updated pictures of the gang only missing Northerngems Oliver Twist and name TBD (Gemma) who lives with our mentor

Going to start using this page again. We have our 3 show of the year in a few weeks. Luigi is entered to hopefully get some more GCH points and Scully will be tagging along for her BPUP debut!

Stud #2 for Ruby is like 90% decided on! I won’t be breeding her on her next heat cycle but I’ve done calculations and she would be bred Feb of 2025 for an April due date with a June 2025 go home date! We are super pleased with how Ruby first litter has flown the nest and this next breeding would bring a different twist but expected to be just as fabulous. If you are interested in being on our list for next year my messages are always open ☺️

Since we might have some new followers and lurkers who might be interested in a puppy from us but right now is not the best time and want to inquire about a future puppy. We do not have another litter planned until at least the spring of 2025! Ruby is our only breeding female atm and she my pet first and foremost, my best show girl second and mom third! I’ve got shows planned for everyone for the rest of the year so unless something spectacular comes up she won’t be re bred this year. The babies are 7 weeks!! Time truly flew by, they’ve been the most fun and I’ve cherished every second with them. Next weekend they start flying the coop and I can’t believe we are already at that point. It’s been an honour raising this litter and they turned out better then I could have imagined

Such a pretty sunset! 🌅 the babies have had an amazing day! They got to explore the outdoors for the first time and now can go in and out on the deck as much as they please and they are LOVING IT!!

Babies have had a big couple of days! They are now out of their whelping box in my bedroom during the day to a nice big pen in the living room! They are getting exposed to all the noises life has to offer 💜. They are eating their mush like a pro and soon I’ll start introducing different kinds of food and also raw bones for them to chew on. They met their uncle Luigi for the first time with no barrier and he was delighted!! Can’t believe they will be 4 weeks Wednesday.

2 of our boys are still looking for a couch for call their own ☺️

It’s so enjoy some puppy cuteness!! They were dewormed Thursday, some of them have their legs underneath them soon they will move to a bigger pen and the fun will really begin 💖

Puppies are 2 weeks old today!! We have 3 that have decided they want to see this big world 🌎. We expanded their whelping box to include a p*e pad and they will actively go towards it and use it. Puppies are starting to get a better grasp on those legs. In one more week we will make their area even bigger. Individuals pictures will come this weekend ☺️

The babies turned a week old yesterday. Everyone gaining well and mom doing a great job! We still have 3 boys available in this litter with a go home date of May 2024 💖. All puppies will be registered with the CKC vet checked, first shots, microchipped. Both parents are confirmation Grand Champions and fully health tested to our breed club standards and OFA (Orthopedic foundation for animals) standard as well. Puppies are being raised with puppy culture protocol which includes ENS.
